"We popped in on our way home from our weeks holiday at Ingoldmells. A simple Google search for breakfast brought us to the hidden gem that is the House of Coffee. I chose the big breakfast, the wife the smaller english breakfast, and little legs the american pancakes with nuttella and fresh fruit. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever eaten and that's coming from a chef. Both the wife and daughter thoroughly enjoyed theirs too. The wife and I opted for a freshly brewed coffee, and our daughter an apple juice. We'll definitely return to the House of Coffee when we make a return to Ingoldmells next Summer"

below average breakfast, although it was stated to have egg yolk, had not served 1 in 5 of the breakfast an egg yolk, and when they had replaced we had already eaten ready. very bad run coffee house, in-fact, this place is more like a laborious fat spoon. you have not recommended

I wanted to ask the whole family for breakfast somewhere. the complete English breakfast with lincolnshire sausage was quite terrible, these sausages tasted more like pfeffersau and not lincolnshire sausage. trust me, our family had enough lincolnshire sausage to know how to taste an imposter. the waffles were hard and tasted like karton, the fresh fruit is ludfully overpriced. 8 small pieces for £1,50 the place was absolutely dead, no atmosphere ever

Food was alright. I ordered a bacon sandwich and my father and sister ordered an English breakfast. My mother ordered the eggs and asked for them to be poached so that they would ooze out onto her toast. Instead they were overcooked. She simply asked to get the eggs redone and the staff member came back over with an aggressive demeanour and was very rude towards mother. We considered asking for a refund for her food. Eventually the food came correct, an easy fix, may I add. Awful service. The quality of food was tasty though.

"I've been in Horncastle on business twice once on a Monday, once on a Tuesday and both times found the town mostly closed for business in the evenings. This time, just as I was on the point of deciding people in Lincolnshire must have a tradition of fasting on a Tuesday evening, I came across The Bull. This attractive old coaching hotel looked inviting, and the staff offered me a friendly welcome. The warmly lit, high ceilinged interior of this Georgian inn was full of diners (Yes on a Tuesday! Take note, other restauranteurs of Horncastle) and the ambiance was convivial. The selection of beers behind the bar was good and the two pints I drank were tasty and well kept. I was presented with two bar menus, a separate burger menu and shown a fish menu and a steak menu on the wall. (I understand tapas is also available at weekends). Quite a choice! The bar menus largely consisted of what you might call traditional pub grub of the best kind. Within that massive choice, there must have been at least half a dozen dishes I was really tempted by but, eventually, I plumped for the cauliflower soup followed by the pork belly, mash, peas and apple gravy. Both courses were outstanding and extremely generous in size, especially the pork belly. My only disappointment was that I hadn't room in my distended belly to squeeze in a spotted dick for pudding! My bill, for such a large and excellent meal, was very modest. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at The Bull and would definitely eat and/or drink there again."
