"we were preordered online, but no table was reserved for us. that was terrible. we had a dry burger with nothing but the bungalow and the burger. fillings of any kind were extra. this came with a very small handful of almost cold chips that were edible but not hot. a wild old piece of pre-padded leaves accompanied this with half a piece of gurke and a piece of tomaten that had the gristly stalk left. the house wine tasted like vinegar. all in all a great disappointment. we will not be back."

This is an average pub with a typical menu. Quite expensive for ordinary pub food. Quite quiet inside but spoilt by the 3 locals at the bar swearing continuously! Positives are it is dog friendly and has wheelchair access.

Lunch before Rugby match on a Saturday was very ably handled by this friendly abode with many serious contenders nearby. The beer choices were outstanding and the menu covered sufficient angles to provide a good choice. The only criticism would be that the pub was extrememly quiet and could benefit freom some low background classical music. Other than that all 6 of us were well pleased with the visit.
