"So so so good!!! We had a sub par dinner the night before so we asked our hotel where the locals like to eat and they recommended this place. So glad they did!! We saw a table of priests eating a meal when we walked in so we knew it was going to be “the lords Italian”. We ordered the artichokes a traditional Roman dish and the buffalo mozzarella. The Motz was divine! Our waitress excitedly said it was good, and fresh from Naples. I ordered the carbonara and it was magic! The bacon was crisp and flavorful, perfectly balanced. I asked the waitress what she recommended for dessert and she said the pistachio tiramisu. it was light and refreshing, it wouldn’t have been my first choice, but I’m glad I tried it. Highly recommended this restaurant!!"

Just had food at Il Giardino Antica Osteria 1909. It’s in a tiny little side street off via zuchelli. The food was so good. It was full when we got there so glad I had made a reservation. Fantastic food, a lovely atmosphere and great staff. Highly recommend!

we booked through the fork thinking that it was necessary to book but the restaurant is very large and the availability of covers is really wide. detached tables, quiet and pleasant environment. Menù quite varied and great food. we ordered a thread to the three pepi and crispy octopus with hummus and confit tomatoes, baked potatoes per contour and a portion of tiramisù and cheesecake for dessert. all very good and well presented

a very friendly, courteous and helpful owner. we ate traditional dishes that often seem the easiest to cook, but then are the most subject to criticism and defects and instead all geese and delicate. not to mention the excellent services: reception, table service and toilet. the location is fantastic because next to the iconic places of roma and does not appear as a tourist place. highly recommended. I'll definitely go back to the center.

I had asked my hotel concierge to recommend and make a reservation for me prior to me arriving in Rome, with the special request that it was my wife's 40th birthday and wanted it to be special for her. It did not disappoint at all. The staff were all so friendly and went out of their way to make up a special plate of tiramisu with a birthday message and Candle, singing happy birthday to the wife. Carbonara was absolutely beautiful and by far the best I have ever had. The setting of the restaurant was also really relaxed. Thank you for making such a memory of our first visit to Rome.
