"I don't know if it was bad day for them when we visited but as my title said, the worst food we can remember. We visited this place for lunch as a couple. Firstly, we would normally not dine in a place like this as it looked like a tourist trap. It was facing the lake, high foot traffic area and super crowded. But because it achieved such high reviews on here, we thought we would give it a go. We ordered battered courgette flowers, caprese salad and pizza. The battered courgette flower turned up hot on the batter, but the courgette flower was cold, like it was not defrosted. The tomatoes in the caprese salad was floury, and the pizza was tasteless and doughy. We sent the courgette flowers back for them to heat up, and it returned soggy like they microwaved. So I had to chase the waiter and waitress to get them to see it was cold and even worse than first time. The waitress did recognise the issue and didn't charge us for the courgette. The table was not very clean and service was average. It was clear the restaurant was understaffed. Overall not a dining experience we want to remember."

we tried this place because it was amazing, but seriously the worst service we had! waiters were so rude and ignored as.

the intention is certainly the attraction of this restaurant, so it seems that they do not really try to eat on. the bruschetta for one was a sad piece mozzarella.

lovely place, the starter of the photo is spectacular and above all of eight quality, also the first excellent! pizza also at lunch. the service a bit 'fresh, tourist, but the place is also valid for the beautiful lake view, highly recommended

we stopped a Saturday at noon attracted by the beautiful panorama. I must say that we were satisfied, we took a piadina valtellina, a rustic sandwich and a risotto with Parmesan cheese. all very good especially risotto. has a very wide menu, they also make pizzas. in the winter outdoors I provide blankets to cover from the cold. not very cheap prices but it is worth the view. This place is in an awesome spot for a very scenic view while having drinks or dinner. We had had the lake with Mountain View’s right in front of us. We stopped in here for a couple drinks and appetizers. The beer and wine were good as were the fried cheese balls. When the bill came the waiter gave us a small jar of jelly. He said the business supports a child’s charity and they a bunch to hand out to customers. Again the place has great views and they had live entertainment. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely go back if in the area.

We had breakfast here for three mornings as it was included with our stay in the associated Divina Vita Apartments. Each morning was good egg dishes tasty, loved the yoghurt and granola, fresh orange juice and of course the amazing view of Lake Como. The apartment itself (which I can 't find to review on TripAdvisor) was absolutely stunning. We stayed in the 'Design ' apartment which had clearly recently been renovated to a very high standard. The furniture was stylish, the bed was amazingly comfortable and the views of the lake were better than we could have ever hoped. It was so special and one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Loved it. Worth the money for sure.

"I was in Bellagio on a solo holiday, and had eaten at the other top rated restaurants in town prior to this night including the Michelin guide one). This restaurant was reviewed by others online as casual , and is up on top of a hill. I decided to try it out, so I made a reservation. It was a hot 30 minute climb up the hill including many steps) from the centre of town to reach this restaurant. I arrived very hot, and was welcomed warmly by the person at the front. I was shown to a table on the patio, and presented with a menu and water was delivered shortly afterwards. All was well at this point. Unfortunately, I was then left for 30 minutes without anyone coming to the table. I was getting bitten by mosquitos, and I watched two other tables get seated after me, who were then served and ordered drinks I still hadn 't even been given a drinks menu. I wondered was going on, so eventually I got up and went inside and asked if someone would be coming to serve me, as I would like to order a drink, as by this point I had drank the whole bottle of sparkling water I had originally ordered. I was told that someone would be coming. Bread was then dropped off by someone passing by without saying anything. Finally, the chef came out to the table and asked me if I was ready to order. I said I had questions about the menu, but I would like to order a drink first. The chef told me that he was very busy, and did I want to order food or not? He was extremely rude, so I asked to speak to the manager. The chef then told me that he was the owner, and that he wanted me to leave his restaurant, and he told me to get out. I was shocked and upset. I went back to the front to the nice person who had welcomed me, and I found the chef angrily addressing her in Italian. He then turned to me and mentioned my “dress code” and was aggressively pointing his finger at me. The woman instructed the chef to return to the kitchen, and I left the restaurant in tears. I must point out that I was dressed in long shorts and a v neck t shirt very similar to the American man sat at the head of a big table next to me. I cannot help but wonder if the chef would have addressed a man in the same way, as I did not see any other guests ‘dressed up’ for dinner. I eat at high end restaurants all over the world, and I have never been asked to leave a restaurant before in my life. This was not a high end establishment. I had to walk 30 minutes back to the town crying most of the way) to try to then find a restaurant for dinner. It was almost 9 pm when I got there, but my appetite was gone tbh. The chef should stay in his kitchen if he is unable to treat guests with respect. If the chef wants a “dress code” for his restaurant, then he should inform guests in advance as other establishments do. Utterly disgraceful behaviour, but Karma comes after everyone eventually."
