A very memorable experience. Amazing view, very attentive staff. Great food and wine. So good we went 2 nights in a row.

First visit to Porto San Paulo in June 2023, My sister and I came across this restaurant by chance. We had lunch here every day during our stay. The food was amazing.

you eat really well mainly fish prices are average high but it is worth it. is open only from spring to late October very pleasant view of the board and the bay of port san paolo

every time we get back to the port is always a real pleasure. High-level menu that satisfies everyone including who like me is vegan. impeccable service and location is always a wonder.

Mediocrity well presented. The food was OK but not Wow. Not really value for your money. The best feature of Il Portolano is it's stunning location and the good wines. The food really wasn't. Sorry to say. A little disappointed I admit. A not cynical Belgian tourist who eats better at home.

I went twice to this restaurant as a representative of a local tour operator and although the food was fantastic, it was expensive compared to similar places. After a lunch with a colleague loving the food, I returned with my husband for our anniversary and spent €250 and were not offered extra bread for our main which had a tasty sauce and no liqueur with our coffee. We spend a lot when we eat out and despite us living in Sardinia and eating out a lot, we were treated like tourists. It would be good to ask about people as we would return with friends and could recommend to our clients but maybe they are happy with one off visits. We had a fantastic meal at this cozy waterfront restaurant serving Sardinian classics with inventive twists. Located just steps from the sea with waterfront breezes this place exudes charm and understated elegance. While the menu seems familiar with other spots the little flourishes elevate the experience. We started with a divine connolo-like a canolli but a savory crust filled with a light and creamy goat cheese served with amazingly flavorful tiny tomatoes-simple but divine.
