Jackson Stops Country Inn

First time eating here and wasn’t disappointed, beautiful food 10/10 for every course, staff were lovely, attentive but not annoyingly so, and will definitely be back really great find .

Even though we showed up without a reservation on a busy day, the restaurant was able to seat us promptly and serve us delicious food with attentive and friendly service. We were very grateful for the wonderful experience. Thank you to the staff for a great meal.

Nice little boozer, menus a little pricey but understandable location and choice . Small bar, staff welcoming and little details that count like bringing water over for the dog …. Things like this are a nice touch. Look forward to calling back in the summer and sitting outside

The food was amazing. Really varied menu accommodating my vegetarian daughter-in-law and great kids menu too. The service was first rate. So friendly and helpful and no waiting for courses but not rushing us either. Very attentive. I would have to rate them as the best restaurant I’ve eaten in for a very long time. Highly recommended.

This excellent family-owned restaurant never fails to impress. We started with soufflé and parfait, followed by delicious sea bass and steak mains. Every plate was cleaned and we were too full for dessert. The service was exceptional, with incredibly helpful and friendly staff who went above and beyond. I highly recommend this restaurant for a fantastic dining experience.

What a fabulous place ambience, service and food. Dining alone is always an interesting experience, but the staff at Jackson Stops could not have made me feel more welcome. The service was more high end London than country inn. And the food was magnificent generous portions and incredibly tasty. Highly recommended if you are in the area or even make a detour it's worth it!

An excellent family run restaurant tucked away in the pretty village of Stretton and a firm favourite of ours when working in the area. A truly delicious menu which never fails to impress; the food is always cooked to perfection and is beautifully presented. We can highly recommend the sea bass and steak, venison and ale pie. Professional, friendly, attentive staff who always deliver excellent service.

The Jackson Stops has been a reliable favourite of ours for quite a long time; we hadn't been able to visit for a while, so it was lovely to return. As a family group of 7 we had a very relaxed and enjoyable Easter Sunday lunch there. The service as always was friendly, informal and attentive but never intrusive. There was a special Easter Sunday menu with a good choice for starter, main and dessert; we also like that they have a varied vegetarian and vegan menu too. Our food arrived in good time and was very attractively presented, together with bowls of seasonal vegetables.
