"We travelled to go get a Janota Tandoori after reading reviews, I don't no where to start ,shame really, I asked for an Indian it was tasteless.. I would go to point saying hardly any spices at all in if Any. Very Bland. Samosa filled with meat but under cooked. lamb well we couldn't eat it. Chappites was like thin pancakes. The currys, keema was like a stew, tasted like one too, chicken tika masala just tasted like cream but pink. REALLY confused where these reviews come from.. what a waste of hard earned money. I have had bad curry's before but the by FAR the worst. Went in bin."

Excellent food, the menu was new so it was nice to try something different! There were 3 of us, all ordered very different food and all thought it was delicious. Great service as usual too.

We always enjoy the service and food at Janota. Very friendly with amazing dishes. Lamb chops are delicious and chicken and spinach main one of the best I’ve had. Buy your booze over the road and enjoy. So so reasonable great meal for 2 under £25.

We usually have takeaways from Janota and Tonight we ate in their restaurant. The food was first class and really tasty, and you get plenty of it so we had to ask for a doggy bag. The staff are very polite and the restaurant is so clean. I cannot praise Janota enough, 10 out of 10. Thank you for a lovely meal.

I have been eating from Janota since I was around 8 years old. I am now 16 and still love their food, especially the veg korma. Good value for money and delicious. I've eaten in once and it was a really nice looking place, with relaxing lights. Good service and brought containers for us to put our food in to take home as the portions are quite big. Also good for some vegan family members that were there. I'm not sure about the extent of vegan options but they got meals they were happy with.

Always have a consistently excellent, high quality meal or takeaway when we visit Janota. It is excellent value for money and all of their portion sizes are very good. Lovely friendly service and all members of staff make you feel welcome. It is a very clean restaurant with a good atmosphere; and all the dishes we have tried have been perfect. We are especially our takeaways while the restaurant is closed due to covid restrictions. Would highly recommend Janota! Thank you Janota for our lovely meals
