"I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and simple in the best way possible. The atmosphere of the pitched roof barn added to the overall experience. The value for money was exceptional, and the flavors of the dishes, from the crab on sourdough to the risotto, were truly outstanding. The only downside was the lack of sufficient heating on a chilly night, which is the reason for giving it four stars. Overall, the dining experience was exceptional enough to compel me to write a review. I would give the food a rating of 5 out of 5."

"We had a fabulous meal. We booked in main because of the google reviews which were spot on. The menu choices are small which is perfect for me as too much choice makes it so difficult to actually choose. There were four of us and two small dogs! We had all three courses and all the food was beyond excellent. The star of the menu was the fillet steak which was the best my father in law had ever had and he’s in his seventies! The lovely front of house staff are so welcoming. We will be returning. "The Dining Room has a stellar reputation and going by Google reviews, exceptional in every way. And I will continue to beat that drum. I had the absolute joy of dining here last night. Meticulous attention to detail wove through the evening, through the food and service and ambience, pulling all the elements together into a work of art. The visual beauty of the food did not set you up for a disappointing mouthful. Every flavour and component was there for a reason and played off each other purposefully. My highlights were the truffle cheesecake with balsamic, the smoked cheese custard with Beetroot, the perfectly-cooked-melt-in-your-mouth venison and the rum poached pineapple cheesecake. I tasted many more from people at various levels of willingness to share and can vouch for the rest of the menu too. The value for money is worth mentioning as I left absolutely satiated, happy and not lacking anything. What a treat."

"A very nice place to stay and Ash and Debbie the owners are always pleased to do everything to make your stay special. The choice of breakfasts is substantial and the cooked breakfast are excellent. It is conveniently situated within walking distance of Padstow along a path just across the road from the B&B and not far from Wadebridge. I would also recommend the evening Bistro. The food is excellent. I don't think you could get better. Well Don Debbie, Ash and Adam."

"The most amazing dining experience I have had to date. Fantastically attentive staff who were on the ball every step of the way, I never had an empty glass and learnt a little bit about every meal! The fact that nearly every course had a tableside event just made it that bit more special. Every bit of food presented was stunning bith visually and to taste! If I could, I would eat here every day for the rest of my life! Well done to every single member of staff who worked as a well oiled machine from start to finish! The hand written birthday card and goodie bag to take away were fantastic treats!"
