"tasty eating especially the rice with beans and it seemed like a fairly healthy alternative to most vegan junk food options in inverness. Unfortunately, vegan options are not marked, so we looked at the vegetarian menu, guess what could be vegan then checked with the waitress when she arrived. the portions were generous and eating was good not too oily, as Jamaican may sometimes be. I saw some other people saying that they had to wait a long time, we went around 17 o'clock and waited a normal time."

We had a really good meal here. The food was excellent and the owner, Glenroy, was very friendly and nice to talk to. He also has a separate vegan menu.

Excellent vegan food. I had the okra and vegetable plate and was extremely pleased. The dish was flavored exceptionally well. I’d definitely eat here again.

Caribbean gem in Inverness! Authentic, home-style cooked food. We had the Spicy Bean Stew and the Okra and Callaloo, both with rice and peas. Both absolutely delicious would’ve given 5 stars if Happy Cow allowed. Vegan menu is separate and has quite a few options. View menu

yes, the time between ordering and eating arrival is one because, although what comes from the kitchen is definitely worth waiting. I had a spicy bean cassrole with cassava fried knödeln, which was hot pierced. the personal is also really nice and the prices are quite resonable

there is a separate vegan and vegetarian menu, but it is worth noting that everything is not vegan on this menu. I had the nice tempura that was delicious, and my omnivore friends said, looked better than theirs. the only part was that we had to wait for an hour to eat, but it was worth waiting.

Separate vegan menu on request, although a bunch of the dishes have egg and cheese listed, so read carefully. The callaloo okra dish was amazing, one of the best dishes I've had for a while. The jackfruit stir fry was okay but the jackfruit was just thrown in the wok without pressing/pulling etc. View menu

Been too long since I last visited here. I have at last been able to try the new addition Vegan options and they were great. I had Jackfruit, Pineapple, Sweet Potato stir fry in a soya and black bean sauce with Plantain and Onion rings to was great Glenroy even made me a side dish of pickled hot peppers. It was great.

We came here for dinner last night and I thoroughly enjoyed a very flavourful vegan jackfruit stir fry. Unfortunately their “vegan menu” seems to actually be vegan and vegetarian options as it listed meals with egg white and Parmesan in the description, but even so the actual vegan options were great. It’s also a lovely relaxed space with nice people.

"Oh, what a day we had at The White House for my auntie’s 88th! It was pure magic, right from the off. The team there couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us all feel right at home in the heart of Scotland. Now, let’s gab about the food it was out of this world! We started with gluten free fish n chips, and let me tell you, it was as good as any chippy by the sea – crispy, golden, and just packed with flavor. The venison steak and beef short rib? Cooked just how you’d want them, tender and full of taste. The gluten free burgers were a hit too, so juicy and well seasoned. For pudding, we had these scoops of ice cream, smooth as you like, and an apple crunch cheesecake that was simply to die for. But it was our server, Anastasia, who really made our day. She was a wee star – always there with a smile, quick with a recommendation, and knew her menu inside out. I barely noticed our water bottle was empty, and whoosh, there she was with a full one. That’s service for you! The atmosphere in The White House was just as warm and inviting as you’d hope for. It felt like sitting in a cosy wee pub in the Highlands, with all the charm and friendliness you’d expect. So, if you’re ever in the mood for a meal that’s as satisfying as a wee dram on a cold night, head to The White House. It’s not just eating; it’s a proper Scottish experience, full of heart and soul"
