A very good quality ratio overall Don't take into account the old reviews, the current owner bought the hotel in June 2023! : Careful, generous and caring staff, a great welcome Excellent Food (both the restaurant and breakfast are rich and of very good quality, with local products) The decor of the restaurant is simple but very pretty, with a small intimate terrace Quiet location (the hotel also) and in the land, not so far from the south coast: (Renovations are underway, so these points will surely be improved quickly) Hotel that is a little old so the soundproofing of the rooms can be better Bathroom open to the bedroom, so missing can be of a small separation (paravent, door, curtain) I recommend the eyes closed!"

This was one of the best dinners of our month in France. We loved the menu at 25€, all delicious dishes in the French tradition: roasted scallops and foie gras for starters; roasted turbot and lamb ribs for mains.

What a good surprise! Repris a few months ago by a new owner, it is now a very good restaurant. Our dish was really delicious. The beef tartar was perfect, excellent food! Special mention for the very friendly service. Anyway, very good address! View menu

This is a pretty, sleepy Breton town. Worth a detour for the the beautiful 15-16thC churches alone. However tourist sights apart, this town is worth the detour for the food in La Croix d'Or. Classic Breton/French cuisine at a very affordable prix. The food is...delicious, honest, tasty, reasonable and generous. Worth a detour, but for us, worth the journey!

Excellent restaurant with professional happy waiting staff the food is great... Not an everyday restaurant but if you have something to celebrate this place will make your day special and wanted to go again. Just be careful to ask for your red meat more cooked...than usually, my duck breast was a bit row but the waitress did send it back to be cooked : Thank you to team La Croix d'Or we will come back when in the area.
