"Group of eat their on Friday night starting about pm . It wasn't our choice as unknown to our local host the German restaurant across the street had gone out of of persons ordered the rump steak which I thought...was well cooked at medium rare. mixed salads were tasty but my side dish of pasta was boring with a sorta of red sauce that tasted more like gravy than spaghetti sauce. Wine list could have been better supported with inventory as our choice of reds was not available that night! Service overall was above average for the meals Ive eaten in Mannheim over the past days."

Very nice high end Italian. Excellent choice of pasta, antipasti, nice wine selection. Don't come for Pizza though. But plenty of other things.

Travelling on business and recommended by hotel to try the restaurant. We came in late, were made welcome and served good quality food. Recommend either the porcine ravioli or the beetroot risotto. View menu

Ate here with a group. Found it expensive and disappointing. Several of us left saying that we thought the prices were too high. Pasta dishes seemed reasonable but the other mains were overcooked and small portions.

I have ordered the Gambas garnished with Lemon Spaghetti. The pasta were hand made (sowie pasta no. barilla). I highly recommend this dish. The ambiance and atmosphere was cozy, although they restaurant was busy. One can have a very nice experience here like a...date compared to Cafe Limone where it's so crowded and loud. Make sure to call and reserve a table. View menu

I had dinner here on a business trip, on a Monday night. I didn't ask for a starter. I got a small apetizer, which was surprisingly good, and set the tone for the rest of the evening. I had a tasty house wine (didn't know...it, the check says Cannonau excellent Guinea Fowl as main course, nice caramel cream as a desert. The place is quiet and cosy, the restaurant was half full, with a nice atmosphere. Service is good, the waiters are very kind.

An Italian restaurant tucked down a side street. The décor in side is sort of Tyrolean. On a Saturday night it was busy so reservations recommended. I had minestrone soup which was clearly homemade. Elinor had a beetroot carpaccio with mozzarella and pesto which was...excellent. I had rabbit leg for a main course with olives and potatoes. Elinor had fish fillets with spinach and rosemary potatoes. All the food was good and the service pleasant and quick. A good choice for Italian food. Two starters, two mains bottle of wine and an espresso about euros.

Mannheim, known for its grid layout and Baroque palace, offers hearty German cuisine. Try "Sauerbraten" (pot roast) and "Spätzle" (noodles) for a true local flavor.
