"group of 4 eat their on Friday evening beginning about 9.00 o'clock . it wasn't our first choice as unknown for our local host the German restaurant on the street had gone out of business. 3 of 4 people ordered the Rump-Steak I thought. was well cooked at medium rare. mixed salads were tasty, but my bein of pasta was boring with a kind of red sauce that tasted more than spaghetti sauce. the weinlist could have been better supported with inventory, as our 1st 2 selection of red was not available in this night! the service was above the average for the meal I have eaten in mannheim in the last 3 days."

here with a group. it was expensive and disappointing. some of us said we thought the prices were too high. Pasta dishes seemed reasonable, but the others were overcooked and small portions.

I have ordered the Gambas garnished with Lemon Spaghetti. The pasta were hand made (sowie pasta no. 3 barilla). I highly recommend this dish. The ambiance and atmosphere was cozy, although they restaurant was busy. One can have a very nice experience here like a...date compared to Cafe Limone where it's so crowded and loud. Make sure to call and reserve a table.

I had dinner here on a business trip, on a Monday night. I didn 't ask for a starter. I got a small apetizer, which was surprisingly good, and set the tone for the rest of the evening. I had a tasty house wine (didn 't know...it, the check says Cannonau , excellent Guinea Fowl as main course, nice caramel cream as a desert. The place is quiet and cosy, the restaurant was half full, with a nice atmosphere. Service is good, the waiters are very kind.

An Italian restaurant tucked down a side street. The décor in side is sort of Tyrolean. On a Saturday night it was busy so reservations recommended. I had minestrone soup which was clearly homemade. Elinor had a beetroot carpaccio with mozzarella and pesto which was...excellent. I had rabbit leg for a main course with olives and potatoes. Elinor had fish fillets with spinach and rosemary potatoes. All the food was good and the service pleasant and quick. A good choice for Italian food. Two starters, two mains bottle of wine and an espresso about 80 euros.

Mannheim, known for its grid layout and Baroque palace, offers hearty German cuisine. Try "Sauerbraten" (pot roast) and "Spätzle" (noodles) for a true local flavor.

"After a very long time we had to go to Sushi again. We still knew Kaoru, but in the old premises in Q, hidden behind a passage. For a few years the restaurant has been sitting on Goethestraße and has increased. Saturday afternoon, still reserved online. The form asks where to sit. Selected Sushibar. At last, we are here. Be welcomed and I mention the reservation. She points to the bar, but at the same time says that we can sit where we want. There was enough space everywhere. Probably she was watching our asking looks when we saw the sushibar. After all, we still had the bar with waterway in front of us....This was always the attraction of the Kaoru that the ships were on one way over and could be operated. There was also a bit of overash effect. We had experienced it before. All right, so we sat at the bar. With the back to the street and in front of us the chefs prepared eager sushi. The ingredients are behind curved glass. The cooks served, depending on what they needed. Something interesting. We got the menus. Sushi in several variants are available. Dessert. Beer. We took all warm Sake and Asahi beer. I tried the Rainbow Roll, 8 reels with tuna, salmon, cancer, white fish. The Maki Set and the Beginner Set were ordered. Price between 10 and 18.50 Euro. When ordering, I asked if there is no more waterway. Unfortunately no, she said, and regretted it very much. After the reasons, we didn't ask them. The drinks came to the place. The Sake was very warm. The sushi came very soon after, at the same time for everyone. It looked appetizing and actually like the picture on the map. It tasted good too, all right. The payment was then somewhat lengthy, because none of the services were to be seen or it appeared only briefly between the tables. It's been a little. A family came in when we left. The first question of the great son to serve: have you changed? He also missed the waterway...."
