"We were searching for a good pizza for lunch and stumbled upon "La Nuova Osteria" on TripAdvisor. This place should not be mistaken for "L'Osteria" which is located in the same street, though relatively far away.The restaurant is located in the part of the city where finding a parking spot during lunch hours might become a 10-15 minutes challenge, but you will eventually find something in one of the side streets.The interior decoration and furniture provides a warm atmosphere and generally it looks tidy and rather new. There is also a garden, which is separated from the street by a high stone wall covered with ivy. Also a pleasant ambient to have your meal. The waiter of Italian origin was very friendly and discreet. Now to the pizzas. The menu offers more than 20 different kinds (couple more than listed on the web site) and special wishes may also be indulged. They are made with fresh ingredients and baked in the (electrically powered) stone oven. Now this was not the best pizza I have ever tried (I prefer it from a wood powered oven), but it was a very good one, for sure one of the best you can find in Nuremberg. The menu also offers a wide range of other italian dishes, which also look very promising. We did not try them yet, but I am definitely coming again.Finally, the dishes are also available to take away (no delivery though), in which case you pay 1€ less for pasta and pizza."
