we were very disappointed! even if there was a free table outside the waiter ignored us one because and then another couple that came after us got the table first. very unfriendly!

was the first time at this place and was a beautiful surprise. waiter very precise and friendly. meat very well cooked and served. price reasonable for zürich and the high quality of the meat.

Great steakhouse, best value in Zurich. The meat is great, the service is friendly, helpful and efficient and the location is pretty cool. Bonus points for having good vegetarian dishes. The sweet potato fries are the best we’ve had

high quality meat, perfectly seared steaks, nice condiments and sides. the price is fairly high for a steak though. nice wines and spirits, good location. especially fun in summer when you can sit outside and people-watch. chairs could be more comfortable.

We enjoyed a great dinner and compared it to steakhouses in California or Chicago. Same quality, excellent service and lower in total costs. On a a summer night a great place to enjoy a dinner with friends in the Niederdorf. I will go there again...and can highly recommend it

What restaurant in this day and age refuses to serve tap water?? This one... Felt like the entire experience at this restaurant was a money grab. Zurich is expensive, we all know that but I have been to many countries around the globe and high...end restaurants and this one was just a bit too over the top. Food was good not phenomenal and I would say the prices could be justified but the experience did not warrant it and that's where they failed. Wouldn't recommend it and wouldn't eat there again.

we had only one evening in zürich and wanted to visit the old town after the discussion with our hotel concierge was the recommended. despite the non-reservation, we were welcomed with a warm welcome and given a pleasant exterior. everyone was taken up, so we were happy. we were even happier that there was a jazz band that just played on the square, so we had a love entertainment during dinner. steak was excellent as the accompanying meals. only reason for a 4 rating was the service of drinks on the slow side and, even after zürich standards, the prices were very high. that said we would definitely go back.

Contrary to the adverts, this steakhouse is certainly not the best in town... but for sure the most overpriced. The Argentinian and US steaks are of good quality and well prepared. But you get them just as good elsewhere too, and for a fraction of...the price. Now, if you are out to show off with the most expensive meat you will ever see, you can get some fancy steaks at a rate of about CHF/kg. Guess what. For this money you don't even get white table cloths. Nor will you get a side plate for the lone slice of bred they serve you. The service is rushed, no time for attention or a smile. It was my friend's birthday and he craved a steak. As we're still teetering on a verge of lockdown and only outside seating is allowed, I wanted to make sure the restaurant I choose is actually open, so I started calling the steakhouses of Zurich....Simon's Steakhouse was the only one picking up and I'm really glad they dis, because otherwise we wouldn't have found them. The service was excellent, staff friendly and extraordinarily attentive (at least for a Zurich restaurant . Their sense of humour was refreshing and they were able to provide advice when needed.
