"My husband and I went to this hotel for a one-night stay which included entries to the nearby spa (2 minutes by car) and a choice of three different meat-based fondues in the evening (chinoise, vigneronne or glareyarde). The welcome was warm and friendly. The room as well as the restaurant are tastefully decorated in an alpine style which we found very cozy and very detail oriented. Our only issue was with some of the service during dinner. One waitress was wonderful and very attentive. However, another waitress was spending more time talking to two of her friends at one table and basically ignoring other tables. She did not even greet us or present herself when she came to our table, basically just saying “Have you chosen?”. Moreover, the sommelier came to our table, arms crossed in front of him, not saying a word and then just staring at us, waiting for us to say good evening to him! We ordered a rather expensive bottle of wine which was unfortunately corked. When my husband pointed this out, the answer was “Are you sure?” As somebody who works in the hospitality industry, I found this behavior quite shocking and not a good reflection of the otherwise high quality of this hotel and restaurant."

I had already eaten once in this restaurant hoping for a better surprise .. raw pizza with no flavor .. too sour tomato. Really mediocre starters really horrid marinated meat. poorly qualified and competent service

We really liked the food here, specially the warm goat cheese with honey, our salad and pastas were also very delicious and everything came in big portions. We are staying in Anzere for 5 days and now we are going back there for the second time :

Far from expectations. We were told it’s the best in town. Well, it’s far from being the best. Beef/steaks were okeish, the lamb was not cooked enough, side orders boring, kids’ menus very poor, they had some good wines .. but far from cheap. All in all not good, rather expensive and they don’t accept Amex. We won’t return. View menu

Nice pizza after a loooong hiking day. We had a Pizza Cannibal and a green salad. Plus some very nice local beer. We were able to use the VS 100. voucher, such a great promo! The staff was really friendly and helpful. Just one improvement: please consider offering larger (and eventually more) versions of salad. Buffala mozz tomato, mixed, ruccola etc.

I have trouble with the false mountain atmosphere decor and the “gastro” service aspect. Tables already set for the meal at 11 a.m.... enough to dissuade you from drinking a coffee or an aperitif. I don't go to the mountains to find the constraints of the city. My comments reflect my opinion only. Others will be delighted to find city codes and comfort there.
