"I'm not the kind of person that writes bad reviews but I could not let this bad experiance pass.I've made a booking in this restaurant almost a week in advance and recieved a confirmation the same day. We were going to a concert in the Lanxess Arena (at 200 meter) that started at 20 h. To be sure to get there in time I've booked for 18 h and we arrived at 17.45 h. It was very crowded but when I showed my reservation we were seated outside right next to another couple who were having their dinner. It was a table for 4 persons so it wasn't so pleasant for these people, neither for us. Fine, no problem for us. We did not say anything about it.After 20 minutes we were still not asked if we wanted to orders drinks or food. I finally got someone on our table to give our choice when she told us very rudely that we should fill in a form that was apparently on our table. Nobody told us this so we couldn't know. Whe dit what was asked and had given our choice of tapas (7 tapas in 2 courses). At that point it started to rain and the table was partially under an umbrella so our table and my wife were getting wet. Nobody came to ask if we wanted another table or if we want to be seated inside. Again, we didn't say anything and luckily the shower went after half an our. In the meantime we were waiting for over an hour and still haven't got any food. The table behind us asked the waiter to bring the 2 courses the same time as they also were going to the concert. I did the same thing and afterwards asked 2 more times when the tapas were coming. After 1,5 hour (it was 19.15 h) we got our first tapas, the 2nd course wasn't served. We ate the food (Lucky for us this was ok) and asked for the other ones as I told the waitress that we should have to leave at 19.30 h. No reaction of appologies... We stood up at 19.35 h, paid for what we have had to eat and drink and went to the concert, as we had tickets for almost 8 months. This was one of the worst dining experances of my life!! Never, never again!!!"

...drei Tage Köln zum Phil Collins Konzert, haben es durch Zufall gefunden, Essen war superlecker und die Kellner waren einfach Spitze... unbedingt zu empfehlen... Danke für einen echt tollen Abend !!!

Food taste good, the selection is also good. The service is fine, unfortunately a little slow and inattentive. In part, our food was interchanged or misplaced. Some things went wrong but all right. Maybe one more, two more tapas. And then it fits.

Auch bei niedriger Auslastung des Restaurants vollkommen überfordertes, schlecht gelauntes und demnach langsames Personal. Der Grillteller mit Grillgemüse, genauso wie die Meeresplatte mit Grillgemüse beides angeblich für zwei Personen waren mit jeweils drei bis vier Kartoffeln, zwei Zucchinischeiben und einer viertel Zwiebel als Beilage ausgestattet. La Reina is a restaurant with, in my opinion, autentic Spanish cuisine. The drinks were served quickly, the tappas were on the table after 20 minutes. The service is courteous and friendly. The tappas were very delicious. The lamb fillet perfectly fried the fritted sardines were not overloaded with panade, but exactly prepared. The ambience is very cozy and the washrooms clean. I will definitely come back. 20.02.2020 Today I was back. Service super, atmosphere cozy, food very delicious. Price is reasonable. Especially recommended is the fish soup!

Wir waren schon öfters im La Reina, immer wieder sehr nett und superlecker.Vorm Phil Collins Konzert in der Lanxess Arena wollten wir noch etwas Leckeres essen gehen, ein kurzer Anruf von der Autobahn und schon hat man uns einen Tisch draußen reserviert.Wie immer sehr netter und ganz herzlicher Empfang, Essen top und im vollen Laden zügig da, am Schluss saß dann der Chef noch ein paar Minuten bei uns am Tisch und hat eine nette Abschlussrunde ausgegeben.Das ist Gastfreundschaft vom Allerfeinsten und wir freuen uns jetzt schon wieder auf das nächste Mal.
