"Food is okay, service is terrible. Servers will purposely ignore you because it 's only the three of us , food won 't come all together and when asked about it you 'll get an annoyed it will come eventually answer. Nobody knows anything, because it 's always someone else 's responsibility. Pasta arrived cold. View is average considering this is an island. Asked to have more tomatoes as a side instead of chips and got literally two slices, a quarter of a tomato in total (got more upon request) Fish would have been decent if I only was still hungry when it arrived. An hour wait tends to do that. Our meals (3 dishes , not 30) arrived all at different times. It 's okay to not sit down customers or let them know you 're understaffed, is not okay to be rude."

Take away was not worth 10% cost of the meal even eating immediately outside at the sea wall. Can only hope the sit down meal would be better. The steak was over cooked and the mussels were tasteless. View menu

Great food at a fair price, and well served meals. Even if you are hungry, just one dish is more than plenty. The food is very tasty, fresh seafood and very nice family environment. All waiters were helpful and nice as well

A very mixed bag to be frank, octopus for starters was tasteless as were the marinated sardines, my wife had mussels which were good and also the rather bland sardines. Total bill with a bottle of wine was nearly 90 euros which for what we had was overpriced.

View menu

I came for dinner about 7pm for a Table for one. I was seated in the restaurant about 45min later. Most restaurant don't open before 7.30 and this one in particular had all their seating outside fully book. So do make sure to book if this is important to you! Nonetheless, the food was delicious. I had the fresh tuna steak and side of fries, large bottle water and a 2e service charge is added to the bill. Came to £23. Not bad, a little pricy but the food was good and it was my first night, so I don't mind a treat. Lots of pizzeria places along the Laguna is you fancy something else than fish. But for fish, this is the place. Lovely service, quick and well decorated place.

This restaurant has good potential with great fresh food and lovely patio near the sea. The staff was a bit all over the place though.. I was on holiday and didn’t mind the atmosphere, but I can understand some might find them too slow and slouchy. As an example, they give a complimentary basket of bread to all tables and we didn’t get one. Our plates and cutlery were taken away after the appetisers and they forgot to give us new cutlery when the main was served. When we finished our meal, no one asked if we wanted anything else such as dessert, coffee etc. The table next to us waited over an hour to get their food and had to ask twice. If it wasn’t for the food the review would have been so...

"This restaurant looked completely unassuming from the outside. It is on the hillside approach to the Basilica from the town of Sant’Antioco, and like many places in this part of the town it can be easily mistaken for a private residence. However, it should not be missed as their seafood menu is delightful and the service super-friendly and efficient. The restaurant is normally open in the evening from 19:30. It has 3 regularly changing set menus, meat, seafood and mixed, that consist of a antipasto dish and 2 further dishes (normally some kind of pasta and some kind of main focused on one particular ingredient). Each of these menus cost between 35-45 Euros and you can add a glass of local wine for a further 3 Euros. I had a truly inspiring meal that started with a luxuriously tasty and herby prawn tartare, followed by a mindblowing blue crab salad, ingeniously served in the crab shell. I had never had anything like this before and it really did maximise every ounce of natural flavour within the crab itself, making for a refreshing palate cleanser. My pasta dish was a local tuna and gnocchi dish, rich with vibrant tomato and caper flavours, which made for a hearty and homely centrepiece of the menu. The final dish some how managed to trump all that had come before. It was, like so much in this restaurant, a simple looking affair, which hid deceptive depths of perfectly balanced flavour. It was a cold monkfish salad, that comprised of slices of fresh monkfish marinated in a olive oil, salt and thyme, served with sweet tomatoes, bitter radicchio leaves, crisp red onion and drenched in lemon juice. It was as delicious a dish as I have tasted and well worth the visit alone. The space itself is a roomy taverna, with very clean and bright decor. The owners have a disarmingly quirky eye for little decorative details, with curling light fixtures, that dangled from the ceiling like gourd fruit and walls festooned with spectacles and slightly off-centre prints. It gave the space a real fun vibe, which was carried through in the service that was personable and attentive without ever once seeming forced. All in all this is a place well worth a visit, even if you are staying on the Sardinian mainland."
