The service was great as the restaurant was so busy - really lovely and worth a detour. The fish was amazing .

Excellent and smiling welcome. A crushed beef tartar succulent. I loved the homemade chocolate melt. Good service and very attentive.

Excellent meal and very good staff welcome. We ate very well: the abanico pig for me and the pears for my daughter (who loved them! , Small rum baba for dessert. Very nice terrace. Small flat the toilets that are outside.

A good surprise this restaurant, nice setting, staff and smiling direction and dispo malgree the weak, qualite ratio correct price, this change of proprio is beneficial for this establishment that had already a good rib... to rank among my favorites.

Been to L'absinthe a couple of times and if the weather is nice, the setting is fantastic, exactly what you want in a provencal village...The food and service were both OK, not fantastic, but acceptable, and bearing in mind there were 20 of us on one occasion, they managed pretty well. Prices are about average and food was a bit better than average, so on balance, good value.Would be happy to go there again for another nice lunch.

Had a relaxed dinner here in july 2013. The outside space is amazing. The restaurant is beautifully restored and is overlooking the idyllic town square. The food is actually good. It's more than just another tourist trap. Don't expect haute cuisine, but it's good, honest food. The staff (all female) is friendly, but seeing it was rather busy, they were in a bit of a rush. We tried to get a second bottle of water and had to ask about 5 times. They have the typical kids menu's (french fries with burger, chicken,...) so the kids were happy too.Overall, good value for money in a wonderfull setting. Be sure to have an after-dinner walk-a-round in La Garde-Adhémar. It's a lovely medieval village. View menu
