"We've tried dining at Laila previously but it was always quite full in the evenings. However, last week, the place was relatively quite and we managed to get a lunch booking. After a whole month of turkey and mince pies, it was nice to have something a bit different for a meal. I ordered the baba ghanoush and iraqi bread for starters and husband ordered the friend halloumi they were lovely although it isn't the best baba ghanoush I've had. As it was a tapas style meal, we topped up our starters with some fried spicy potatoes, falafel and salad. All very tasty. Finally,we ordered the baklava with cardamom ice cream for dessert and it was excellent! We are definitely going for for more."

Brilliant light lunch out in the sun. Shared a mezze board with delicious hummus and very flavoursome venison salami. Ice cream with saffron and cardamom for dessert was wonderful!

It was a very good restaurant with lovely helpful personel and delicious meals. We aet pasta of the day and it is very very delicious. I absolutely advice there. And by the way it is a halal restaurant for Muslim people. We asked the details. You can eat in there especially you are a Muslim.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Laila's! The staff and service were fantastic, particularly the friendly waitresses. We shared a delicious mezze platter with a great variety of options. We appreciated the ability to bring our own wine and enjoyed sitting for hours, watching the world pass by. I would definitely recommend Laila's!

During a recent shopping trip in our town, we found ourselves in the old town in search of good food. We had noticed Laila's before but hadn't had the chance to try it until now. It was the perfect opportunity for a quiet lunch. We ordered a meze style meal which included Batata Harra (potatoes), falafel with hummus, deep fried halloumi with cranberry sauce, and Baba Ghanoush with Iraqi bread. Every dish was delicious and we left feeling satisfied.

we had eaten the night before in the Italian restaurant next door and laila’s menu, decided to go there the next night. I had the Moroccan lamb balls in tomaten with rice and my wife ordered the chargrilled chicken kewer with rice and a Greek salat since it was the first week in september, I will forgive the waitress who might have been a student and new, for not offering that both meal times came with an salat and so my wife has always been on the look for please tell the new help.
