"We had a delightful Sunday lunch at the Lamarsh Lion. We were pleased with the selection of meats available, including Beef, Pork, Turkey, and Chicken, served alongside a generous variety of fresh vegetables such as parsnips, Brussel sprouts, carrots, broccoli, and peas. The meal also featured red cabbage, cauliflower cheese, and delicious Yorkshire puddings. For dessert, we enjoyed homemade treats like lemon cheesecake, apple and blackberry crumble, sticky toffee pudding, and various flavors of ice cream. The friendly staff and volunteers at this charming community pub made our experience even better. The location of the Lamarsh Lion is breathtaking, so don't hesitate to visit and enjoy a wonderful meal. You won't be disappointed."

First time in the lamarsh lion yesterday and it was excellent. 5 well kept local ales were on from local breweries such as Pumphouse community brewery. Range of lagers, and the usual stuff including wines also available. A highlight was the food, I had a ploughman's with cheddar and stilton. Tasted excellent, Big portion and was excellent value for money too. My mate had chips and they looked great as well, again nice portion sizes. Atmosphere was welcoming, quiet and relaxed. Definitely the best pub in the area and hopefully I'll return soon Vegetarian options: Yes Parking: Parking round the side of the pub

"We came here on a last minute hunt to find a Sunday roast with family without much expectations. However when entering its a lovely set up and we were greeted by Lee and Alison who looked after us for the meal who just to begin were absolutely brilliant, they really care about the customers and make this place extra special. Now for the food you can get a 2 or 3 course meal so everybody made various selections but all had starters. Most went for the Aarancina which isn't your usual starter with a Sunday roast but for here it packs alot of flavour and is a great way to start the meal. They have a great selection of alcoholic beverages I went for a simple beer. For the main roasts we had a variety of meats I wanted the pork but sadly they had no crackling which was half the reason for ordering but if I am being honest after eating the meal it wasn't missed out the meat was tasty full of flavour but the sides were the key. The roast potatoes were of a top level usually when you eat out they are never as good as eating at home, the Yorkshire were huge and tasty, gravy brilliant with plenty to go around and lots of veg and cauliflower cheese on the side. Honestly this was excellent a really good roast probably the best I have ever ate in a resteraunt. Some of the others had the lamb shank which was huge and had great feedback but the beef was great and so was everything else. So yes check it out eat in and eat some great food in a nice setting with absolutely brilliant service you won't be disappointed."
