"as a party of 8. at the front waited to ask if they had seats. 3 waiters went 6 times from us without being a hallo or a real one with them. he waited about 5 minutes while that happened. two of us went, grabbed a table, kissing the hearts waiter and he went straight into the bar and got them two glass champagner. then a few of us went back for a walk to kiss the one of us, said something to him, and he found one table and sat her. on the back were exactly 2 tables for the 8 of us left. again we waited patiently. because the bar on the back say something to two of the waiters, but again we were not made a confirmation. once again a third couple of us went to the same Gentleman waiter, kissed hallo and again, looked around and found her sitting. I suppose this man was the owner or manager. I then went to man and said we waited patiently for 5 minutes and they did not even recognize us and now they have no table. he pushed us away with his hand and said that was good and sneaked us to go. so never had a taste of eating BUT service wisely we never foot in there, nor will any of the guests with whom we were in complete shock. we were 8, we obviously wanted to spend some money and I could add how embarrassing it was. I wished them the best with their terrible attitude, and a little advice never shoo someone away in such respectful way if they want any word of mouth repeat business."

Almost entirely average. Food and service was good as you expect from anywhere in France, but nothing special. Pretty expensive compared to similar places nearby.

Nice place to visit, staff very friendly efficient but food not brilliant. Both entrocote and beef provencal dissappointing. May be better dishes on the menu though.

Excellent food, excellent service. An amazing discover as it’s not really easy to eat like this in Antibes. They were about to close and even so they were kind enough to serve us, and serve us magnificently. Best mussels I’ve ever eaten and the gnocchi...and steak tartar out if this world.

Great service from the staff. Friendly and attentive. Food is of a good quality. Fish soup was tasty. Steak was smallish but well cooked. Seafood linguine was plentiful. Mussels of a good size. Cost around 100 Euro for a family of 4, which, for the quality of the food, was fair. Good spot for people watching.

I ordered the cod, for €25, not too bad it might first appear. However, the cod was dry, full of bones, and came with sliced vegetables covered in butter in a poor attempt to rescue some flavour for the dish. It was accompanied by a...baked potato, still in tin foil, slathered in what tasted and looked like Carrefour Tzatziki. The service was fine, but I would recommend avoiding this restaurant if there are other options available. View menu

We had lunch here on a recent trip to Antibes. We opted for the lunch menu which has limited drinks options be aware of the drink options on the menu before ordering your drinks otherwise you’ll end up having two drinks and paying more...than you need to. The special was pork ribs which were really tasty and good value, and a lovely panacotta for pudding. The kids option of mashed potato and ham was somewhat lacking but the other kids options seemed a lot better. A good lunch choice overall.

for a tourist destination this place does not seem like tourist very much. our waiter was quite uncomfortable at the point of intimidation. asking a false order, cried out a hostile reaction that dragged us back and eating only two false tellers to avoid conflict. eating was sufficient and overpriced, but they have a good location to be expected. mustels were a really good quality compared to other similar restaurants. the whole experience was uncomfortable, however, and we were feeling very unwilling. we will not be back.

"In this location, surrounded as it is with large restaurants spilling out onto the pavement with their me-too menus of les pizzas and pâtes and overly familiar sounding meals, it is most unexpected to find a bespoke and personal restaurant offering a fine selection of dishes cooked with care. The menu, described appropriately as the 'carte du moment' presents a mercifully small number of seasonal and therefore changing entrées, plats and desserts. However, it is still hard to choose. Each one is enticing, interesting and original with the promise of flavours, combinations of ingredients and textures, without tricks and unnecessary embellishment. For a large number, a selection of all the entrées as share dishes makes a lot of sense. Everyone gets a taste of something and the difficulty of having to choose is avoided. For the plats, a single selection is best with pork, duck, tuna and salmon along with risotto as options on the night we were there. A fine burger also available is perhaps a concession to the location and, actually, a very fine dish. Four desserts are offered with each one tempting and beautifully prepared. Another selection for the table is highly recommended. The wine list is adequate and the ambiance works for lone dining as well as for a larger and more raucous group. The service is smiling and efficient as well as courteous. This is a place to make a favourite. The risk to this reviewer is that it will become deservedly highly popular and impossible for last minute bookings."
