"Why have I not gone here before? My wife took me out for a birthday dinner and I chose this place as somewhere new to try. It's in a great location just opposite the Playhouse Theatre and very close to Princes Street. What a great...choice! The food was excellent and every dish was beautifully presented. I'm sure it's all good but we loved the whitebait, calamari, octopus, pork cheeks, Spanish black pudding and salad with grilled goats cheese. We had dishes between us, portions were decent and good value for such quality food. The staff were really friendly and even sang me happy birthday and brought me a wee cake. The atmosphere was great and it felt like everyone was having a happy night out. Just what we all need in these difficult times. Thanks La Sal for a great experience!! We'll be back."

We found this place entirely by accident after another restaurant let us down on Valentines Day. Wow are we glad we did. The food was amazing and the service was great. Try the Spanish Black pudding, it's to die for!

came with my two teenagers, ordered more than we could eat, all tapas dishes were served quickly and everything was delicious, sangria jugs are good. the personal has made the place safe. atmosphere fantastic. right opposite our hotel(Glasshouse) so ideal.

Been here a few times, lovely food and great service, went pre theatre, playhouse across the road so very convenient, but would visit anyway, good part of the city visit, not far from new town, and newly developed shops down from Princess street. Authentic high...quality Spanish Tapas.

Booked a table here for pre theatre dinner and we were not disappointed. The lady serving was lovely, the sangria was delicious and the food was amazing. We had a selection of veggie and fish tapas, and the portion sizes were bigger than expected so...we ordered way more than we needed! Plenty of options for vegetarians as well. Loved this place, will definitely be back!

went to la sal last night, waiter greeted us with our name that was beautiful. the personal was exceptionally friendly, could not do enough for us. service was first class and the eating was amazing, we chose some tapas while the seafood paella we ordered was prepared. the portion sizes are a good size. we both said we will visit la sal soon, we could not recommend this place enough.

Myself and my Mom opted for LaSal for a sunday lunchtime as part of my Mom's birthday celebrations in Edinburgh. Due to it being a Sunday lunch we only had a main with side but I must say the Paella De Marisco was absolutely...delicious. For that alone I'm giving stars! It transported me to a Spanish beach with my first mouthful! The tapas dishes on the table next to us looked delightful too! I definitely recommend a visit to LaSal if you are in Edinburgh City centre!
