"Why have I not gone here before? My wife took me out for a birthday dinner and I chose this place as somewhere new to try. It's in a great location just opposite the Playhouse Theatre and very close to Princes Street. What a great...choice! The food was excellent and every dish was beautifully presented. I'm sure it's all good but we loved the whitebait, calamari, octopus, pork cheeks, Spanish black pudding and salad with grilled goats cheese. We had dishes between us, portions were decent and good value for such quality food. The staff were really friendly and even sang me happy birthday and brought me a wee cake. The atmosphere was great and it felt like everyone was having a happy night out. Just what we all need in these difficult times. Thanks La Sal for a great experience!! We'll be back."

Myself and my Mom opted for LaSal for a sunday lunchtime as part of my Mom's birthday celebrations in Edinburgh. Due to it being a Sunday lunch we only had a main with side but I must say the Paella De Marisco was absolutely...delicious. For that alone I'm giving stars! It transported me to a Spanish beach with my first mouthful! The tapas dishes on the table next to us looked delightful too! I definitely recommend a visit to LaSal if you are in Edinburgh City centre!
