We went for our Christmas Dinner yesterday. Really enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere was great. Staff were brilliant. Will be booking for next year. Well done to the Lawnswood team. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awful food, took 45 minutes to arrive and portions have gone down, new supplier is awful !! Only a few staff on so service was slow and forgot some of the additions on the menu. Don’t recommend coming, used to be a lot better. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2 View menu

The restaurant was extremely noisy and quite cold during my visit. While the food was good and offered great value for money, the loud atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the service was lacking, as nobody checked on us. The noise levels were particularly overwhelming that night, so I wouldn’t consider returning due to the cold and the chaotic environment.

We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Day meal once again this year. The fresh vegetables were abundant, and they even provided a special vegetarian option for me! Although there was a delay between courses, it didn’t bother us at all since we weren’t in a rush; it actually gave us time to digest our food. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.

I visited for Christmas dinner on Christmas Day with a group of nine people. Both the food and service were excellent; it was evident that everything was well organized. Dining was the focus, with no alcohol served after a certain time, and we were given plenty of time between courses. We've already decided to make a reservation for next Christmas Day. We visited this restaurant as a family of ten on Christmas Day. The atmosphere was delightful, and the food was excellent. We understand that lunch on Christmas Day typically comes with longer wait times, but this allowed us to enjoy each other's company without detracting from our overall experience. Having eaten here for many years we were recently very surprised to be served our starters at the same time as the main courses which apparently is how it's always been done? There was no room on the table for all this food it has never happened before. There's always been a wait in between. I specified when ordering that they were 1st 2nd courses only to be told that if she'd heard me say that she would have stressed it would all come together?! The food was cold by the time we'd eaten starters plus the order was missing certain things too.

We had our Christmas Day dinner here we were told to sit down at 3pm at 5pm we still hadn’t had our main meal the organisation of the way meals were served was terrible. We were the very last to be served , no apology was given for the long wait probably because we complained on the length of time we were waiting. When we finally got our main course the food was awful and cold the turkey was so dry It was inedible the roast potatoes resembled cardboard. By 6pm we had our dessert.. a very thin slice of Christmas pudding!! In total 3hrs to serve a set menu was a disgrace . We definitely won’t eat here again View menu
