"We went there after the visit of the Sisteron citadel. The restaurant is nicely located, in a pedestrian street, far from the noises of the cars. That allows the kids to go outside, if they wish to do so. The interior is really nice, with medieval heroic fantasy decorations that make your mind travel to another world. The kids have books and games at disposal, so they really enjoyed it. In the back of the restaurant there is a small store with heroic fantasy stuff that you can buy. The waitresses were really nice and efficient."

We tasted a delicious Royal Dautade at the Plancha. The pleasant setting and the service to the small care. A boss with little care. Thank you Gwen and Jérôme du Var View menu

Express passage to Sisteron and we stopped by chance in this restaurant. We loved medieval decoration and staff reception. The waiter was very careful with everybody. Long live the calamars at the Roman house!

We had lunch in the shade on the terrace in summer time, the temperature was enjoyable although hot outside. We had the parillada de poisons and the gamba’s a la plancha, delicious! When visiting Sisteron, definitely worth a visit. As their sign says, everything is fresh, except the chef : View menu

We spent this day in Toussaint and pretty surprise. A nice setting. Sweet, generous pancakes. A nice tasting of medieval drinks (which doesn't cost an arm! And two welcoming, generous and benevolent people. We did not have the opportunity to taste the salted dishes but if they are as good as the pancakes, don't hesitate. Anyway, we recommend.

We ate in this beautiful place for my birthday. The waiter made us the very nice surprise to put a candle in the dessert plate accompanied by the song in the background. A very refined medieval decor. A very good service and a very good cuisine and a presentation of very beautiful dishes. We highly recommend , warm welcome and very good cuisine.

"despite a friendly setting and the welcome smiling our disappointment was very large. In the entry we took "goat of the jabron on cucumber tagliatelle bed", the goat nogât was interesting but I doubt that it was home, accompanying it a horrible tartine of soft bread covered with a large layer of dicks totally devoid of taste, totally dispensable. on the goat, a slice of coppa and a slice of industrial raw ham. no interest either. we are still looking for cucumber tagliatelles that have certainly had to crawl out of the plate between the kitchen and our table. given the general rendering of the dish, they are understood. Then come the "lamb duo "label red sisteron", , market vegetables and the "duo de tartare de beef cut to the knife" and believe me that they pass the entrance for a starred chef meal so they are far from matching the description. The lamb is actually a burger, we are told once the order has been placed, where lambs rather good for the blow is wildly stuck between two toasts (industrials again) that succeed the exploit to be both burned and completely soft. Unchangeable for anyone with taste buds on the tongue and not on the back. I'm gonna give you the trim, and I think the picture's talking about itself... about the knife tartar, what do you mean? If it's not a tartar. but an already seasoned carpaccio (pesto parmesan) passed to the mill. We'll put a little ketchup in the plate in case you want to make it even worse. ah yes, it's a duo because there are two piles and one is presented on the same vegetables as those of the entrance, as what lightning can hit twice in the same place in one evening. No dessert or anything else, thank you good evenings you can more and as the note is already worth 70€ (2 rinquins in aperitif and 2 glasses of wine in addition) you prefer to withdraw spicy. So we're not gonna come back, so you're gonna see if the adventure's trying."
