you can find a very fine fish salmon and others food in this place and you can eat on the terrasse prices are a little high but such quality is not easy to find

Our friends invited us here on a recent trip to Paris. This is their favorite seafood restaurant in Paris. We enjoyed--- good scallops for me--- and nice menu overall. Fairly expensive. Decent service.

We came for dinner. Warm welcome from gentleman, food is great. But the waitress who served us was not professional at all and spoiled the evening: wrong attitude, forgetful and clumsy (damaged trousers twice with seafood fell on it with no apologize)

Fresh seafood grabbed from the market next door. We came for the oysters and were very happy, but also happy with our sole and scallops main courses, champagne and wine. Our server was super-friendly and sweet. Very chic and intimate. We left very happy.

What a fantastic meal / evening / experience. Great wine list for any burgundy lover. Had the avocado king crab tartare...to die for..! Texture and taste were perfect. For main course had the "Calmar a la plancha" (grilled calamari)...equally succulent. Atmosphere is great, service and attention to clients perfect (just enough and not too much). Tables are a bit close to each other..but in the right mood makes for great times.

The comptoir des mers is a good seafood restaurant in "Le Marais", offering a wide range of seafood, including an impressive platter (we did not order it but could see it from a neighbouring table). We were there by chance (convenient location) but some patrons were clearly regular, which is a good sign. They were kind enough to accommodate my vegetarian requirements (being the only one in the family) by combining sides and a cheese platter.

The place looks tatty from outside, the only waitress in attendance is helpful, the interior is just, well, ok, nothing special to it.But the hors d'oeuvres are good and the oysters excellent with a good choice of several varieties.People in the vicinity obviously go there when the weather is warm and enjoy their sea food outside on the pavement.Rather liked the menu including avocat and crab and n°2 Gillardeau oysters.Wine by the glass and coffee 115 € for 2.If you pass by.

We ordered a platter between two of us. We booked ahead but we were sat literally in front of the stairs leading to the bathroom in the dark basement at the back of the restaurant. I could stick a leg out and touch the steps, it was such an awkward arrangement when we asked if we can be moved the waitress said no. Our platter was mixed, the lobster was good but the langoustine when opened the meat was all mushed inside as if it was canned. It was all bland and had no flavour at all but just a generic white paste. The service was also terrible as there was one waitress for the whole restaurant.

I discovered le comptoir by accident during my last trip in Paris , willing to lunch around St Paul. luckily it was at the beginning of my stay ,so I could come back two more times. It says it all ..........fresh , fresh with delightful smell of iode and the great smile of the service. All sort of oysters with great comment on which is the best during this season. Gillardot but not at this time Utah beach now etc..........great grey shrimps and wonderful bullot and exceptional mayonnaise. The sun was there all the week and lunching outside is a real treat. Could look at everything and chose test etc.........definitely will be a must in every visit to Paris........
