"First I shall start by saying that we have had a family hotel for 36 years with an enviable reputation for food, wines and service. We were rushed into ordering and were tried to be pushed into ordering an ore dinner drink. We asked for more time from the waitress after all we had been ther 5 minutes. The owner then came over about a minute later and was not moving until we ordered. We were told this restaurant was child friendly. Someone should have told the owner who stunned our kids by saying sit down on your seats this is a restaurant in a rude tone. So we started ordering and although it was clear he spoke English he only answered our questions under duress, arrogant is an understatement. My father in law asked what a dish was and the waiter/owner said it was a French dish and not for English people! He asked what the children wanted and we said they would just have a bit of our food. He said they were taking up seats and therefore had to eat as the restaurant was booked out. We ordered a pizza between them, they are 2 and 4. At this point we were the only people in the restaurant and when we left it was half full. After he left the tabled we debated wether to leave but decided to stay but not spend as much as we usually would. We ordered several dishes with a couple of bottles of cotes du rhone which was of a good quality. There were no vintages on the wine list. The food I have to say generally was of a good standard. My mixed grill was very good, the plat de jour at E16 was good. The duck which my wife was alright, mum had Scollops which she said were excellent and her husband Carl had the veal which he said was gristly and poor. My Father in Law had the pigs intestines which was not for English people and said it was ok but would not order it again. Maybe the waiter was right! The kids pizza was very good. We did not order any extra desserts or coffees for the obvious reasons. Food 7 Service 4 arrogance 10"

It's really a very good restaurant. Prices are reasonable for the resulting quality. The boss has a nice distribution. Always ready to find the solution to be nice to us.

We visited this lovely restaurant whilst on holiday in the area. Food and wine was really good. We also stopped for a drink during a Friday evening market and were made very welcome Definately worth a visit

Newly arrived on the area, what a nice surprise to have come to this restaurant! Of unmatched quality, we enjoyed ourselves as we had not imagined. Also hats for the girl who served with a smile and all that comes from it. It's safe and certain, now near this restaurant, we'll come back with the Great Pleasure! Thank you very much. Restaurant that welcomed us at 1:15 because no restaurants on the coast wanted to take us from noon.. All reserved apparel. This restaurateur wants to work because we accept after 1 pm with a stroller. Make room to put the stroller at the end. And above all we allowed to take an unoccupied table (at the end of the restaurant) to change the baby quietly. I recommend! And above all very well eat at a reasonable price. Thank you very much

The owner of our gite recommended Le Grill as the best place to eat in the area. The French reviewers on Trip Advisor seem to think it good as well. Our first impression was when we visited on a Tuesday evening. It was closed, but there was nothing outside to say that they did not open on a Tuesday. We returned the next evening. The starter was good, but the steak was tough and gristly and came with a large baked potato. Desert was not special either. The service was very hurried plates almost thrown on the table as the (only) waiter went to attend to other diners (although the place was far from full). Not somewhere to which we would return.
