"This place does not deserve the 4+ stars they got on TripAdvisor. We went here thinking we'd get a good meal, we were wrong. We came early, so the kitchen had all the time on the world to make our food, as we were the only 3 people who had ordered at the time. We ordered a Côte de Boeuf that would come with fries and 3 sauces a bearnaise a pepper-sauce and a mustard sauce. I will start with the meat: we ordered it pink, what we got was a pice of meat cooked blue (cooked a lot less than pink) served on a hot stone so we could finish cooking it ourselves. the meat was lacking any kind of seasoning, and was cut in big chunks on the hot stone, so the meat had no time to rest. 2 of the sauces were nothing short of ruined. The bearnaise was curdled / split / broken (photo) and didn't taste well, so I had to send it back and asked for another one (I almost never do this). What the waiter came back with without a word was some kind of butter mixed with some herbs and other stuff, this tasted like the sauce, so it might have been what they make their from? Not sure. The pepper sauce was just brown warm water with no taste and no texture. The mustard sauce was bland, but could be eaten. The fries were okay, nothing special. If you end up eating here order something els :)"

So cute, only small but packs big flavours The owner is lovely and the service was exceptional. Menu small but everything we had was gorgeous A must visit (make sure you book).

Loved this restaurant! It was close to our hotel, which was convenient, but the food was also delicious. Desert especially. The place was small, but homey. There was only one waitress for the whole place, and she was very friendly.

I've been to Le Louis twice, and they have simply amazing french food and impeccable service! The rabbit, lamb, frog legs, all delicious. They are not overcrowded by tourists either which is a huge plus. Highly recommend it to everyone.

Came to Paris on a business trip. Very good food and ambience. Live piano in the background, warm hospitality, and just excellent food. Started with the green salad, ate grilled steak and lamb... so good. Didn't have time for dessert due to another appointment.... Wish I had a try for that chocolate mousse. Thank you for the hospitality. Thank you for the recommendations. Next business trip, I'll try the rabbit. Merci Le Louis~

I came here after reading all the lovely reviews of this place, was looking for a nice authentic experience on my last night in Paris. The food here was lovely, really tasty and interesting flavours. However, I was really disappointed by the service. I understand there was one waitress, but she seemed annoyed when I requested a table for one, and was hoping for some friendly conversation but she was a bit cold and inattentive. Was really sad considering the excellent reviews. Everyone has bad days so I can understand, the food was good but wouldn't come back because of the service.

Fantastic meal. The food was incredible. The staff was delightful. Even the gentleman playing the piano was a pleasure. The restaurant is small (only a few tables) so I recommend reservations if you can. We tried the salmon, the frog legs, the rabbit, and the lamb, and all were wonderful. Perfectly prepared and each tasted as good as it looked. All this and wine was only 100 euro's. Very reasonably priced. The host was lovely and genuinely appreciative of our business (all too uncommon in today's world). We would happily go back tomorrow. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We had reservations...it wasn't too busy. They had a piano player. Small nice place...wifes favorite bathroom in Paris fwtw.Celine was great, made recomendations...i asked her to pick my wine to go with my order which she did perfectly. We started by sharing a nice meat and cheese plate, then shared the prime rib for 2, served on a hot black rock, I had the white Hart for dessert. Mrs had the dessert with the floating meringues...cant remember the name...everything was excellent. We did not care for the dessert the Mrs had, but ate ever single bite of everything else. Would definitely go back.

My friend and I had the most fantastic lunch, so much so, that we invited a couple of other friends, to dinner the next day. What a mistake! Our reservation was at 8:30pm, we were waiting for 20 minutes to be seated. It took another 40 minutes for the food to arrive. Starters were mediocre to say the least. The mains, except for the lamb (which was really tasty), were flavorless and overcooked. Fish has scales on it. Not wanting to make a fuss, I went round the corner and quietly asked the lady if I could please have some garlic/butter sauce as the food was quite bland. Without directly acknowledging my comment, she turns to the chef who in turn explains something in French. I am left waiting...
