"I've visited Le Malouna several times, as it's close to where I stay in Antibes, and I'm never disappointed ( well, except for the time I accidentally tipped hot sauce all over my dinner, but I'm not sure I can blame them for my own ineptitude ;-) ).The menu is varied and, whilst the food is "simple", that's certainly not a negative. It's all cooked and presented well. I had the Antiboise salad, which was fresh and tasty, and really good house white - all very reasonably priced for the Cote d'Azur. The restaurant has great views of the Antibes marina, and has a pleasant covered-but-open area at the front. The owner (I think) also waits on tables, and is very friendly and welcoming; she's particularly patient with stuttering attempts at French!Le Malouna is a great choice for a relaxed dinner or lunch."

This restaurant was refurbished during January February March and is now the best value in Antibes, superb "Plate de Jour" and good tasty menu , it's a must try.

Ate here our first night in Antibe. Very convenient for us and good salad nicoise. They were very busy but advised us that the pizza would take some time so offered us to order alternative- much appreciated. Good food and good service.

Nice food and service but evidently no nonsmoking area as required by French law. The roofed area is open so if you think you have found a non smoking area, you are wrong. You can be surrounded by smokers on the outside and smokers "inside".

We had lunch here before going to the airport. This place is just average. Maybe we could have chosen more wisely. I ate from the set lunchtime menu and ended up with a bland prawn cocktail and chicken burger. Chips were out of the freezer and I didn't finish the chocolate mouse (unheard of). Nothing intrinsically wrong with this but you could walk another 100 yards for something better.

This is a wonderful spot right by Port Vauban where the Yachts are moored. It is not expensive and the food is fine. There is also a full bar. It is owned by a very nice couple and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. We live very close and often take a pizza home for dinner or stop by for coffee during the day. They work hard and have an excellent reputation with a lot of regulars from the town and yachts.

"In this location, surrounded as it is with large restaurants spilling out onto the pavement with their me-too menus of les pizzas and pâtes and overly familiar sounding meals, it is most unexpected to find a bespoke and personal restaurant offering a fine selection of dishes cooked with care. The menu, described appropriately as the 'carte du moment' presents a mercifully small number of seasonal and therefore changing entrées, plats and desserts. However, it is still hard to choose. Each one is enticing, interesting and original with the promise of flavours, combinations of ingredients and textures, without tricks and unnecessary embellishment. For a large number, a selection of all the entrées as share dishes makes a lot of sense. Everyone gets a taste of something and the difficulty of having to choose is avoided. For the plats, a single selection is best with pork, duck, tuna and salmon along with risotto as options on the night we were there. A fine burger also available is perhaps a concession to the location and, actually, a very fine dish. Four desserts are offered with each one tempting and beautifully prepared. Another selection for the table is highly recommended. The wine list is adequate and the ambiance works for lone dining as well as for a larger and more raucous group. The service is smiling and efficient as well as courteous. This is a place to make a favourite. The risk to this reviewer is that it will become deservedly highly popular and impossible for last minute bookings."
