"Went to the Pelican for an evening meal, the food was lovely but there were a few blips. We were given the menu in french (which was fine) but the waiter pointed out the table beside us had the 5 english menu's......the waiter could have asked them for one menu for us, or one of the guests at the other table could have offered us a menu but they didnt (which I thought was very rude, they just sneered at us). However, not deterred I ordered from the French menu and both mother and I had a nice meal. However, the taste was slightly taken off the meal when we orderd our coffees and after wating 45 minutes we decided to take our bill and go. On producing the bill the coffees had been included (which was human error, I accept that) but it did take a little taste of the evening. I would still recommend it, just dont wait as long as I did for your coffee!"

Great food and worth a visit !! The lady 'boss ' could be a bit more hospitable, but otherwise the service was great.

We were nearly not going to visit here based upon a few misguided reviews. We are so glad we did. The food was superb even with a fussy teenage boy who tried escargot!! The service from owner was delightful. We will definitely return before we leave.

The restaurant offers a variety of menus from 20 euros to 36 euros depending on how many dishes and how sophisticated the ingredients. All of it is super tasty and very well presented. This is local French gastronomy as they say... All served in a very light and airy modern decor. Very enjoyable meal :

The food in this restaurant is delicious and presented with grace and style it is also good value. The wine list is also good, featuring an interesting selection from the region. The chef was happy to prepare an off menu meal for my vegetarian grand daughter. See my review of the Hotel Pelican itself for more details.

We have eaten here 3 times now and enjoyed a delicious meal on each occasion. The ingredients are all so fresh and the balance of flavours wonderful, producing an exquisite meal. The wine list is also very good, the wines on offer complimenting the food well. The staff are also charming and helpful, it is a real pleasure eating here.

the owner is unpleasant with the customers as well as his server, we were seven including five Scottish friends. it allows to make reflections of bad tastes. The restaurant smells like a cave and the atmosphere is as bad as the boss. I'm pulling my hat to the waiter so I can handle it. The meal remains good except risotto too cooked.

We were well received and the servers were very careful during our meal. The frame is a little old. The dishes are well presented. the entrance and the dish are good even if for me it was not seasoning and to finish the desserts are beautiful but fades to my taste. short a mixed menu at 35 euros we remain septic. a good point, however, to the well-proven wine list.

Patron, xenophobe insultant and sans aucun respect. Nouriture tres moyenne. I went there with my British girl friend and the boss insulted the british. He is xenophobe and rude. He made my girl friend cry inside the restaurant in front of everyone. The food was dry and testless. Do not use them specially if it's for a wedding you have much better quality around for the same price

This was our first visit to Le Pelican. The welcome was very friendly and the service was good. The restaurant looks out onto the main crossroads in the village so one can watch village life which obviously is very quiet at lunchtime when we made our visit. The food was good and of good value too. We would go again if passing but would not go out of our way to amke a special visit.
