"We wandered into Le Pure Café after looking for records nearby, our first day in Paris. We were charmed by the decor, the velvet bench seats, the sympathetic servers who let me try out my French but still responded in English, kindly. They served up lovely cocktails, and we enjoyed a nice cheese plate as well. We expected that cafés like this would be common, and we decided we'd not return, just to make sure we experienced as much as we could, but as our trip went on we realized how special this place really is. We returned for lunch, and again for dinner, each time being met with fantastic service, and incredible food. We enjoyed what was likely the best steak frites in all of Paris with a delicious Jack Daniels sauce, and perfectly golden fries. The desserts were decadent, the drinks were superb, and our dinner was romantic, and truly unforgettable. We plan to return to Paris for an anniversary in the future and hope Le Pure Café is waiting for us."

Awful food, ceviche was hidden in the mangoes and the fries were the worst I have ever had The wine list was poor

Very good quality price. Small sun terrace that is at the corner of 2 very quiet streets. The staff is really at little care. This place has become our canteen when I'm in the middle of cooking

I had to visit because I loved seeing Before Sunset and it's just as lovely as you would expect. It's comfy and welcoming to both French and English speakers. A must visit for any fan of the film! View menu

As a group of friends we came for a Friday night dinner. Excellent level of service with great waiters, funny discussions. The food is good, meat of excellent quality. Decoration is nice, you spend a good time in a good environment. Good wine but I would expand the choice of cocktails.

A true Parisian Café with its sublime preserved décor and its corner terrace. From the breakfast to the delicious croissants, to meals and to the friendly apeos a beautiful and svelte team, like the Master of the places, provide a friendly and efficient service. Rare and authentic! Thanks to Antonia for his service!

Very average breakfast (bacon/cheese burger and salmon tartare with fries “season” far too cooked ... . We can't say it's bad, but nothing crazy. Table for two tiny, rather noisy atmosphere. The frame is pretty for this authentic bistro (not a chance if movie shoots take place there. Sympa just for a glass of Rosette on the terrace (a little off traffic one summer evening . For the rest, bof bof. View menu

An exceptionally beautiful room and counter, shouting Paris and authentic bistro. Interesting map, slate good sign, nice waitress. On the dishes: good caesar salad, but in the end still a lot of salad at the expense of the other ingredients of the recipe... disappointed especially on the dessert 'lost bread': industrial vanilla ice type 'gold card' or 'metro', and 'caramel' of the same acabit, obviously out of a tube.

The food was extremely poor and overpriced and the service was just as bad due to being clearly understaffed and the manager looked unmotivated! It took them over 20 mins to bring our drinks (2 beers) and when they did they were flat.(€8 a drink) and also the steak was so undercooked despite asking for the meat to be cooked medium and had to be returned and was later served 30 minutes after without an apology for the chef's incompetence. Overall it was incredible disappointing and I would recommend avoiding it.
