"I was visiting brother in his new apartment and he asked me if I fancied a bite to eat? Sure. So off we set, I imagined a long walk/metro/taxi but no, not even 10 steps from his front door and here we were. Opening the door we were hit with that lovely noise of people enjoying a good evening. No music. No tv screens. No one looking at their phones. I love the deco and the vieu zinc. No reservation but a table for 4 was quickly found. Good looking simple menu. Following newish trends: Bho, fish and chips, charbon burger, mashed avocado on toast. Quick service. Good food. Great atmosphere. What more do you need?"

Great neighborhood cafe but with a more varied menu than typical French food. I enjoyed the salmon poke and my husband had the butter chicken. We were equally delighted with both. Service was good and we were very happy to have a low key meal in a true local cafe. Not the cheapest cafe, which was a little surprising, but certainly not overpriced given the good quality of the food.
