A nice place a good welcome. The tapas are correct. On the other hand the paellas are insipid and without flavor especially the paella of mariscos) damage. Very disappointed

excellent dinner last night at the cellars of St Gilles. This tapas restaurant disguised as a French restaurant has been able to convert us to the small (not so small as elsewhere) Spanish. everything was there, patatas bravas, octopuses, tortillas, handlego. and Spanish wine!Very good place to recommend!

On a small quiet side street you find this simple but very nice tapas restaurant. The food was excellent and the service fantastic. We had a nice table outside and the waiters really walked the extra mile to makes us feel welcome and at ease. The recommendations were excellent on both food and wine and prices were affordable forbeing in the heart of Paris.

For a long time I felt that we were not welcome in a restaurant. I don't really know why. At first it was good. My two friends and I got our table and we made our order. After a few minutes we received our first dish after a while maybe 1/2 hour) I asked if we might have forgotten our table because we had not yet received the other 3 ham plates, handlego and peppers) It was not serious yet, it may have happened. I asked nicely. After this moment the whole evening was very strange. It was really a shame because the tapas are delicious and the atmosphere is warm.

Caves St Gilles is a simple busy tapas bar with an original look, a mix of authentic Parisian bistro setting and typical Madrid bodega decor. Tiled walls, colored posters, wooden bar, a little charming terrace set on rue St Gilles in the heart of Le Marais.We shared Sangria, olives, gazpacho, cheese, turron, Rioja Paternina. Classic tapas like anchovies, plates of chipirons, pata negra, grilled asparagus, plates of sardines, black rice, cuttlefish stewed in its ink, cod croquettes. All was tasty.
