"Very good experience the map is simple no choice but to know what to take, refined dishes 'entrance to the top. We took gravel wine 2018 which is not the most expensive of the card and we have enjoyed good temperature. A cream burned just excellent. Thanks for the smiling, pleasant service. A great moment in the greatest simplicity. 2 waitresses will be there to serve you with a great smile."

The welcome is warm like the decor and music of the atmosphere, the kindness of the owners and an excellent and warm kitchen.

Restaurant that doesn't understand allergies, let alone Crohn's disease. Asking not to have dairy products was enough for the boss to receive reprimands, unpleasant service and a higher bill.

Beautiful establishment with nice little cachet, but especially good traditional food 100% home. The red onions jammed in jar is a small wonder. From the beginning to the end, only good. MERCI Chef!

Very good restaurant! We called one night at 9:00 and they welcomed us despite the late hour. Restaurant with very good cuisine, pleasant atmosphere. We got out of the ravine and hungry, a very warm dish.

Very good establishment, I recommend, but take the trouble to book! All the dishes were delicious! We will definitely come back...Congratulations to the couple who run this restaurant alone, Mr in the kitchen and his wife in the dining room, everything is perfect! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

First of all a nice welcome patroness throughout the meal. Daily formula at 15€ (entrance, dessert dish) served generously. The dish, squeezed with pork under sweet potatoes was delicious! The chocolate cream a little too much Flanby to my taste, but it's my opinion... Glass of wine at 5€, we should propose pichetes so that the addition is lighter during a lunch week.

"We spent a few days in Eaux chaudes as a base to explore the area and La Caverne was the closest place for us to eat at. This restaurant is located at the end of Eaux Chaudes and it is really the only place in town to eat. Eaux Chaudes in itself is quite small; blink while you are driving and you can almost miss it. But we found it quite enchanting with the mountains, the greenery and the river and creeks. The restaurant is also a hotel, which we will surely try to stay at next time. You can park just outside on side of the road or just before where you can find some parking are in front of residential buildings. As you walk towards the building you can see the terrace area lined with gorgeous flowers and hear the river flowing below. Quite the sight. We sat here to eat during lunch when the weather was nice.Through the doors you will enter the bar area where you can sit and have a drink. Otherwise, you will be greeted an taken to your seat. Most likely, the lovely Annie will be there to greet you. She is the chef's wife (and owner, I think) and somehow between English, Spanish and French we understood each other. During dinner time we were taken downstairs to the cavern area. As you are walking down the steps you can see straight into the kitchen and see everyone cooking away. When we entered the dining area we were happily surprised. It was such a beautiful, warm, quirky place and we felt very comfortable there. The food was just really very good. We had the fish, the rabbit, the beef, the chicken, and my favourite the garbure soup. Really, we tried it all, a different dish for every meal. It was all delicious, I mean it. The portions were quite large and we were quite full after each meal. We stuck with the menu du jour so we could try a variety of meals a day, and the prices were quite good. We paid on average 65 Euros for dinner for 4 people. This included starter, meal, dessert, cheese, juice, beer and wine. The garbure is a specialty soup of the region with duck and pork. It's thick and full of beans and vegetables. The sides were quite good. They make chips (fries) once a week for those who like that. We tried them and they were very nice. The main dishes had a few sides each, all tasty. Our children loved the food and ate everything too. The menu is not large with just a few dishes a day, but it varied daily. Lots of nice wine and beer too, good selection. We had the sandwiches too and they were quite large and very tasty. While dining there our waitress Emilee, whose English was quite excellent, found out it was our daughter's birthday. They made her a birthday platter with candles and flowers, a special desert, dimmed the lights and all the staff sang her happy birthday. It was so very special and we are very grateful for it. After our third day, we felt like family and were treated as such. It was a wonderful dining experience and we would recommend this place to everyone.Be warned that this restaurant follows the French schedule with short, early breakfast, late lunch (from 12-2ish) and even later dinner (after 7). It is also a modest in size, so if you have a large group I suggest you call ahead."
