"authentic and funny. my son and I are in mongolia this month trekking, so we thought it would be a good idea to try a few of the price...Little lamb is a tiny restaurant on the shaftsebury avenue. 6 tables, from the memory, all with a hot plate to their top bubbling. They choose between spicy or herds, or both in a double-headed. they are deeply aromatized with chili, zinammon and various unmistakable. it is maintained during the course of the meal. they then select various meat, fish, vegetables and noodle dishes, like a fondue, along with a series of dipping sauce. of the meat we had thin cut raw beef we would have trip, sink or had some other dishes.) from the fish we had crumbs and legs and fish balls. also the cloaks, snuggles and carving on another table looked good. we had tofu, pak choi and Mongolian noodles that are huge flat, over a customs over, and a complete b*gger to try to pick up from a steaming tub with chipsticks! we had the cheekflower sauce yum) and the house speciality that was a peanut-based dish.) yes, it was not the best price in the world, but it seems infinitely more authentic than this Mongolian place in covent garden, service was charming, we were the only non asian people there, it was very good worth £30 between us including drinks and we could practice with less fun!"

Fun, challenging and social. And at around £25 a head with sides of meat skewers and a few rounds of Tsing Tao, it's definitely a keeper.

large food and service, the prices per person are up to £23 p.p. but it is still a great value. we ordered 2 meals for 3 people and it was enough to feed us all.

for the £20 set meal you get 5 dishes (min 2 people) and it proves to be excellent value for money. the bark balls and the flesh loved. seafood is also very fresh.

For £20 a head, you get the broth and a choice of five ingredients per person. It is an astonishing amount of food, I think next time we might just choose individual items.

I stink of meat. Two hours in a Chinese hotpot restaurant like sitting in a porky sauna. And I would do it again in a heartbeat. I'd first heard about Little Lamb from Alex Carnegie who'd actually been on a quest for shabu shabu but settled for a close

brilliant. of negative assessments. my friends and I loved this place. my advice, don't go to the menu. we had a spicy broth, seven portions extras, two sauces and drinks for each £10! it was delicious and we were all very satisfied. try the Mongolian nudges.

I think people are being a bit hard on Mr Wu’s. It isn’t a gourmet experience, but if you want that, you need to pay a lot more in this part of town. You can eat as much as you like and there is fresh salad as well as the catering pack Chinese staples. The sweet and sour pork is crisp, there are vegetable options and the prawn dishes have lots of prawns in them. Puddings taste of nothing at all, but there is always tinned pineapple.

I'm afraid this contribution will disappoint a whole lot of them. herr wu’s is an all-you-can-eat Chinese buffet near the trocadero, mainly populated by wilder tourist, and as such they would think to tickle each box in the cripple restaurant checklist. there are only few all-you-can-anything operations in the world that strive to the highest standards of service and quality, and the probability that my evening in mr wu is a catalog of uncanny catastrophes was presumably why it became the winner of the where next question, which I know, also that many people have bad meal times at mr wu’s the user reviews.

With the long winter spells last year, all I wanted to do was huddle up next to the fireplace at home. My friends and I decided to head over to Little Lamb for some hot pot. Hot pot is perfect to gather a bunch of mates for cooking your own food in a steam pot and conversations. Little lamb has been around for years, I remember passing by in my teens looking through the cloud of steamed windows. The £20 per person set menu is a bargain, choose a soup stock and 5 items each, from long varied lists, vegetables, to thinly sliced meats, noodles and many more. We carefully chosen the herbal tonic as our soup base, after an incident of buying schezuan for a family hot pot I vouched never to touch...
