"The positives the pizza at L’Osteria is always very nice, and very big. Nice location too. BUT the attitude from our waiter went from friendly to very unfriendly at the end when we left. Why? I paid with a card when I realised...I didn’t have enough cash to pay, and the card machines in Germany generally don’t give the option to leave a tip. So I then put my hand in my pocket looking for coins for a tip and only found Luckily my gf had some € coins too so that we could leave a tip of approx but hey, who’s counting? on the table. I think the waiter must’ve thought we hadn’t left a tip at all because it was left on the table for him rather than handed directly to him, and when my gf said thanks and goodbye he completely ignored her. I can easily understand the disappointment of waiters and waitresses who feel they haven’t been appreciated. But please at least wait until the customer has left and you are sure there really is no tip before you start with the attitude. To be honest you shouldn’t really be doing that, tip or no tip"

Popped in here for a pizza and a beer while visiting Bielefeld. Had a pizza Marnier and a couple of beers. Very friendly service and big tasty pizza that I struggled to finish. Worth a visit just for the pizza

We've been here for a birthday and even though we had a reservation, we had to wait quite a bit. The pizzas are nicely sized and the food in general is tasty, but I don't think it's something special. A good place to hang out...with friends and eat well on a budget View menu

English menu. Polite and helpful service. Full drink menu of cocktails, white and red wines, and beers. Appetizers, salads, pasta, and pizzas no second plates entrees. Complimentary bread, which was loaf slices and extremely soft with a good crust. Drinks and salad requested as a...starter were promptly delivered. Aperol spritz tasted just like it should. Pasta took a little bit of time, but still brought to the table faster than you might expect in Italy

Came to L’Osteria for a family meal last week and had a great experience. We hadn’t booked but as we were eating early a table was found for us by the helpful staff. The menu is extensive with a great range of pizza and pasta....My wife and I both had pizza which are huge if you have a small appetite get one to share which were cooked to perfection lovely and thin without being too crispy and then just breaking up. We had our young son with us and the staff got us a high chair without prompting and then the children’s pasta kept him entertained for the meal. We will certainly be heading back again
