"We spend a lot of time in juan and have tried many of the restaurants. This seems a new name this year. Young inexperienced and not over friendly staff. Went early around 19.30 and they were not so busy. Had 2 formulae on offer and one of these was unavailable. My wife had sea bass on risotto which was very well presented and she says very tasty. I had the veal a la creme which was not so good. Very chewy veal. Prices as are many of the restaurants in the area for the starters are ridiculous. More expensive in many cases than the mains. Nice setting over looking the bay out to Cannes. Clean white table cloths but dirty tatty menus . This may be insignificant to some people but tells me a lot about the management. The reviews already written meet my criteria in that this place is distinctly average. I have given 3 but 2.5 would have been better had I been able to give that. No reason to draw us back there . They need to improve a lot."

Friendly people, nice atmosphere. Food was okay but little 'fat' sauce. Very quick service which is ok when you are hungry.

Staff were fine, welcoming and attentive, but the food was low quality for the price paid. It wasn't food you would send back, but just cooked to a basic standard. It may have been the time we ate, although 8 o'clock is pretty mainstream. My advice avoid at night, there are better places around.

I really liked the food and the service in this Cafe Restaurant! It is a bit expensive but i think it was worth it!It was delicious and the decoration of each plate just unique. The service was really good. The lady who was singing as well, she was just awesome. What a voice!!! Well done to everyone. View menu

The food looks great on the plate and taste good. Cozy indoor area, the outdoor area is litterally on the pedestrian path, so expect some traffic. The staff do a great job with the service and make you feel welcome. Highly recomended. Several items on the menu so you will probably find something to your liking.

Had two meals here recently and both times we opted for Tapas and bits.. Friendly sort of place and with a good atmosphere. You can sit and look out towards the sea. Some of the staff need to interact with the customers a bit more but all in all a good place to eat. They also have Happy Hours!! Dessert was good.

A small palace of no taste, for my part I ate a burger without any flavor with a very fatty breads the fresh fried fries does not exist in this restaurant, better yet, a caesar salad prepared with pane chicken and grilled bacon, a césar sauce prepared without anchovies and strongly salted frankly for an addition of 55 euro I advise you to go to eat in this restaurant View menu

The wok dishes are always very nice chicken , beef , duck or a lovely seafood selection ! our bill was 125 euro for dinner ( which is average for us ) , 1 cocktail each, cafe gourmand , cafe and 2 brandies oh yes and a lovely bottle of Sancerre . Staff have always been nice and do there best .... Even when they get a little unexpected rush , like they did last night .

The place was full of Riviera retirees (meticulously manicured, well-groomed hair and all dressed-up old men on their own).Finding the right lunchtime "formule" seems to be the main pass-time of this lot.Nothing much to say about the food being served at l'ultimo. It was hot and nutritious.Served by an Italian speaking Russian waitress. The setting is wonderful. Will come back

"In this location, surrounded as it is with large restaurants spilling out onto the pavement with their me-too menus of les pizzas and pâtes and overly familiar sounding meals, it is most unexpected to find a bespoke and personal restaurant offering a fine selection of dishes cooked with care. The menu, described appropriately as the 'carte du moment' presents a mercifully small number of seasonal and therefore changing entrées, plats and desserts. However, it is still hard to choose. Each one is enticing, interesting and original with the promise of flavours, combinations of ingredients and textures, without tricks and unnecessary embellishment. For a large number, a selection of all the entrées as share dishes makes a lot of sense. Everyone gets a taste of something and the difficulty of having to choose is avoided. For the plats, a single selection is best with pork, duck, tuna and salmon along with risotto as options on the night we were there. A fine burger also available is perhaps a concession to the location and, actually, a very fine dish. Four desserts are offered with each one tempting and beautifully prepared. Another selection for the table is highly recommended. The wine list is adequate and the ambiance works for lone dining as well as for a larger and more raucous group. The service is smiling and efficient as well as courteous. This is a place to make a favourite. The risk to this reviewer is that it will become deservedly highly popular and impossible for last minute bookings."
