"Good Italian food but lacks care in preparation. Fried calamari and zucchini appetizer was good in concept, very lightly dusted before frying, but served soaked with frying oil. Beef tagilata well prepared but not a great piece of meat and the country fries were uninteresting (albeit not greasy). Chocolate sorbet was bitter and gelatinous with the texture and taste of ice cream. The restaurant was highly recommended so I was surprised at the undistinguished quality of the food I had. Still worth another try."

Very expensive for what the restaurant offers, especially since the service does not always follow. Sometimes very good, sometimes average

The elephant ear (Milanese veal escalope), fries, raspberry tartlet were very good. In addition, the young waitress was very smiling and attentive. I recommend the establishment. View menu

after our night in the opera we moved over the street from the grand theatre to digest un ballo en maschera and enjoy some hearty dips. the restaurant specializes in desserts and continues to maintain high standards. the paillard de veau deserves. special mention, but everything was good and the service impeccable. who says the time is not always standing?

After our night at the opera we moved across the street from the Grand Theatre to digest Un Ballo en Maschera and to enjoy some hearty food. The restaurant is specialized in post-theatre suppers and continues to maintain high standards. The paillard de veau deserves...special mention, but all was good and the service impeccable. Who says time doesn't stand still every now and then?

I was meeting an old friend who’d come back to Geneva for work. Lyrique had a private event that evening but accepted we come for an early supper. We had a lovely vegetarian meal with a wonderful glass of local red wine (Gamaret). A quiet...corner in the cosy restaurant part. I discovered that brasserie and restaurant now have the same menu and the same prices. Thanks to Andrea for having accepted our reservation. It was a good solution for us. Will be back!

Today I order the starter and the daily special so that I can have lunch (relatively) quickly, this is (normally) the principle of daily specials. The entrance arrives, very good. 15 minutes after finishing I ask about the dish, “It’s coming”. After 20 minutes I left. And the irony: the person at the reception (blue blazer, green sweater) explains to me without batting an eyelid that since I had the starter I can wait for the main course! The Lyric is no longer what it was, to be avoided from now on!
