"Not much options on the food menu for selection but the appetisers are good. The soysauce cucumber can get a bit too salty, but is nice. The spinach with sesame is definitely a hit and the fried tofu is good. I'd go for the unagi as it was well cooked. Environment wise is nice. Very quiet during weekdays and the food is quite authentic. Dont forget to try the mille crepe matcha cake. Its thick and creamy. The only thing I didn't like was the Asian waitress had quite the attitude. Was not knowledgeable in Japanese food to be able to answer my questions and acted cocky when answering wrongly. Was also a bully towards my European friends when she kept pushing them to tell them what kind of green tea they wanted when they didnt know the difference between the three oh and I was hushed by her when I tried to explain what the difference was to them. It wasnt rush hour either since we were the only ones dining there at the time. Rude and unpleasant despite the food being good. The environment is amazing though. The top floor is neat and tidy it feels cosy and the bar is a great place to dine at as it has hooks. Downstairs is a bar, not sure if it has opened up but definitely quite well done."

This quaint restaurant may be small, but they excel with their limited menu. The fried chicken is wonderfully crispy, while the unajuu (eel on rice) is flavorful, though it comes in at a slightly high price of £20. The bark udon in a light broth is both delicious and refreshing.

The entrance of the restaurant has a unique and inviting decor, although the interior is somewhat cozy. The dishes I ordered were exceptional and delicious. The udon noodles were particularly tasty, and the soy sauce chicken wings were delightful. The service was quite good as well.

I visited this restaurant primarily for their green tea desserts. As for the main courses, I was hoping they wouldn't be available, so I ended up ordering something I wasn't particularly excited about and that was inexpensive, since it wasn't my first or second choice. Fortunately, the green tea desserts saved the day, along with the delightful service.

The strawberry crepe cake is going to lure me back here soon!! It's the perfect sweetness and creaminess to end the meal Wait! I haven't even talked about the meal yet! Started with the agadashi tofu and karage. Both were good. For the main course I ordered the beef rice bowl (without the egg) and my husband had the curry chicken katsu. Both were solid dishes! Plentiful, well executed and perfectly cozy on a cold winter day. View menu

We had a table reserved for 6:00 PM, but we were running a bit late. The restaurant was very accommodating and let us push our reservation to 6:30 PM. The service was excellent, and the food was simply amazing. I ordered the teriyaki salmon, and honestly, it was the best salmon I've ever had—no exaggeration! The portions were a bit small for my liking, but that didn't detract from the experience at all. This place is definitely a must-visit! 10/10!

This is a decent restaurant that specializes in Japanese cuisine, primarily hot dishes. I visited on a quiet afternoon when there were only eight other customers in addition to myself. I ordered the Tonkatsu, but I had to ask for sauce since it doesn’t come on the side by default. It seems they might have aimed for more tender pork, which could explain this. The rice was somewhat undercooked, leaving it with a less appealing texture. Overall, my experience was average, and I felt a bit disappointed. However, the staff were friendly and helpful.

We went there yesterday for dinner and were totally amazed! The atmosphere of this place is absolute authentic. We've had the Misoshiru and Chicken Katsu Curry and both was simply perfect. As a special we also had the Wagyu Beef for the first time ever and we were amazed! The homemade ginger soda was also very delicious and I will try to make it at home. The team was so friendly and always smiling. It was our last evening in London and also something like a special day for us and we couldn't had a better dinner. We will definetly visit again when we're the next time in London. A big thank you to the whole team! View menu

I have loved this place. managed to sneak the last table they really need to book and we were glad to have done this, it is really popular and the place is very small. the back has izakaya style bank essecke and then there are about 8 tables of two in the main area. we had the chicken catsudon, gyudon, lachs teriyaki and oldashi tofu. the quality was great and it is not too expensive for Japanese foods. they get a good amount, so it's pretty good value for money. the only part is that, as it is so popular, there is a constant stream of people who ask for tables and wait. great problem as restaurant, but a bit disturbing for diners.

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a young waitress with short hair, who was attentive and accommodating throughout our meal. She provided excellent recommendations that my friends thoroughly enjoyed. The Tonkatsu curry came with a generous portion of meat, and the tonkatsu itself was perfectly crispy and seasoned to complement the spicy curry. We also ordered the tsukune and shake teriyaki, which were even better than the curry. The salmon was beautifully seared, and the flavors of the teriyaki sauce were fantastic. The tsukune, served with its accompanying sauce, was delicious, even though it was quite filling for a small plate. I will definitely return and plan to bring more pe...
