"N.B. Visited once, in *Spring 2012*, on a weekend evening, with family, following a neighbour's recommendation. Although busy, the ambiance was pleasant as was the friendly service. The menu was varied and the food we ordered very good and tastefully presented. However, I was served a small Schweppes Tonic Water bottle with expiry date 07.2010 (already open when it reached the table). This was a concern to me obviously and, although I was not ill afterwards, as a result of this we have not been back since. I did mention it to the waiter at the time and he seemed concerned and took the empty bottle to the kitchen (to discuss with colleagues?). I had an apology, but I wonder whether more attention is being paid now to expiry dates...? This is one of the best places for Indian food in our area, south of the city, so a response from management (even in German) would certainly be reassuring to all customers past and present."

My husband and I had a great Sunday lunch. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Great food - we both had chicken and it was really good quality meat. The sauces were delicious - we had an enjoyable, tasty lunch.

An excellent choice for food - single or family. The food was adjusted to suit the pallet of my two children and for myself and my spouse. Excellent service and I suggest that everyone try their butter chicken, kebabs and mango cream....

In general the dinner was good. The chef made it to the desi taste. Nice environment and easy parking in front of the restaurant. This place was almost full today. Maybe thay explains the slightly care free staff. However this place seems like a bit more pricey compared to the other desi placesin Munich.

Had a great dinner at maharani yesterday. I was reluctant to eat Indian in Germany but my Chicken jalfrezi was nicely balanced, I asked for slightly more spice and it was just great. We had to pay for the papadoms and staff could have been a bit more attentive, that should be 3 stars - but the food was good.

I had our lunch here and even after 8 hours , I have the aroma in my mouth... if you are looking for authentic north Indian cuisine, just head up to Maharani. Our order included veg thali, Paneer butter masala and laccha parantha. The food had perfect blend of spices so not too mild and not too hot . A must visit in munich!

If you are looking something different while in The suburbs of Munich, good Indian food will hit the spot!Maharani is great little restaurant serving authentic Indian food with excellent service and better food. Not being an expert in Indian cuisine, the owner of the restaurant presented us with English menus and then guided us through our food selection. From the sizzling chicken Tandoori to the lamb curry and the chilli lime naan, all delighted the tastebuds. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

"The location of Terra Crete could probably be regarded as ideal for Waldperlach, right at the corner Waldheimplatz/Putzbrunner Straße and there the bus stops, so also publicly accessible. But even from the surrounding area. Driving time from north (at Allianz Arena with car without traffic 25 minutes, public 80 minutes. The house is definitely a eye-catcher, very large and yellow and looks very well maintained. There are a few guest parks, the others need to find a place on the road, on the way to the entrance it smells very, very unpleasant. Is that the garbage? You should improve it. This is the only criticism I have. The restaurant itself is very nicely furnished. Before the main room and left on the wall the bar. Next to the back there is a side room with a large open passage a few more tables. The main room is quite loud, but fortunately we had a table in the back of the corner and it was ideal. We were very kindly greeted by the hand (from the boss? and all waiters were super fast, friendly and yet reserved. The drinks were served in a flash speed so you rarely experience it. Even the appetizers didn't last long. Bzw. There was even a mini lens on the house. Right thin, pretty thin, but tasted good. Our Zaziki was a sweet, small plate (about half the middle plate). First I thought that was not the appetizer size, but a supplement. But as it turns out, this share costs only €2.80. Relatively much Dill was in what was completely ok for me. Tastefully also really good. The anticipation was very large on our fish plate Deluxe for 2 people. What served us was a dream! For each 1 St. Peterfish Filet, 2 huge cloves, 1 scalop and 1/2 arm octopus. In addition, a large part of baby potatoes and spinach and 1 mixed salad before, which was very well prepared. 44,90€ are already an announcement, but in my opinion the record was worth every cent. Everything is excellently cooked and even the butter potatoes and the spinach have triggered almost cheerful screams.. The prices for the food reasonable, beverages quite expensive (0,3l Specific/Schorle/Tafelwasser 2,90€ . One of us has shared a dessert with me, a name you cannot remember. But as soon as I find out, I'll end this. What I can remember is the excellent taste. I'm not a big fan of Desserts, but that was just super delicious. Shortly afterwards there was a small portion of vanilla pudding cream, very nice. And with the bill there is another ouzo. Thank you. But even without all these things, there would have been 5 stars here. And again a very beautiful and open smile, a thank you and a handshake. That was definitely not my last visit."
