"Instead of looking for the beer tent of the farmhouse Ehl for asparagus consumption, we reassembled during the trip to the Margaretenhof in Überherrnn-Berus. The Margaretenhof is a hotel (with only a few rooms). In addition to the farmhouse in Saarbrücken-Jägersfreude, the restaurant is the only restaurant known to me where it is sung in the middle of the guest room. The view from the winter garden over the hall is beautiful, however, and in good weather you can also sit outside; that would have been our favorite, but unfortunately it was not possible to change the weather (and also rainy) today. The operator of the establishment seems to be a Porsche fan who likes the pictures (detailed drawings) of Porsche wings or bags on the walls; I thought it wasn't sensible and bad. I also had no reasonable understanding of this room. The menu of the restaurant is also on the homepage of the Margaretenhof, but does not correspond to the current stand. The map is small but fine and divided into the areas of cold appetizers, warm appetizers, Our specialties from beech wood grill, recommendation from the kitchen, For our small guests and desserts. for me, for example, I would not have found a reasonable or even good to very good wine. At aperitifs there were eight choices, while digestive disorders were not listed at all. Well! The service was friendly and quite fleeting, but the kitchen was less. If there is almost an hour between the kitchen and the actual dish, the organization within the kitchen should be considered and improved: This is because the kitchen already made a lot of work by pivoting on the grill in the dining room. We ordered Rumpsteak from Argentinian Angusrind (EUR 21,50) and Brand Spione (EUR 18,00); Herbal butter, crême fraîche or cream rod as well as Pommes Frites and Croquettes were listed as supplements.
