"Wow. This place just blew us away. Rain coming down sideways when we rolled into this warm and inviting little place. Tucked across from the fish market and the proximity shows up on the plate. of us did appetizers. Pickled cubes of fish...melted in our mouths. Oysters. Mushrooms. Salad. Ham with pickles. Eat the bread after you spread the caraway butter on it. Dip it into the bouillabaisse. Both kinds that they offer. They arrive steaming to the table. Fragrant and wonderful. All the fish was perfectly prepared. Side veggies pickled and refreshing. Desserts were delicious too. Sweets and savories. My companions raved over the wines, the digestivos too. Our waitress was stellar and hard working and made us most welcome. This is a gem of an eatery and if I find myself in Hamburg again, I will be back"
