we stayed at the weekend in herne bay and decided to fly out of masala on the basis of previous reviews. eating was really good, the portions great and reasonable prices. we struggle to find good Indians out, so were very pkeasantly surprised.

the first time we used masala bay (withdraw) now will be a regular customer. the currys we ordered were hot when they arrived in our house. armed on time. the presentation was good and the taste was not disappointed. that were the tenderest curries we've ever had. best curries in herne bay. many thanks to all employees of the masala bay.

First time ordering here as recently moved into the local area, I must say I am very impressed. Food arrived hot, within the time provided and reasonably priced. It was the quality and flavour that has won me over. Very generous portion sizes. I tried...the Meat Biryani, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Daal and Aloo Ghobi. Unfortunately, a new Sunday evening farewell did not promise until its earlier. we had good meals from the masala bay in the somewhat distant past, but this meal was most disappointing. the delivery lasted about an hour for forty minutes, instead of...the promised one hour twenty and some of the food like the wobble bhajis were dried out and almost cold as if they were well cooked in advance and half-heartedly warmed by. most of our main thing had king prawns and without taking them were overcooked and chew. a court I had not ordered was delivered and added to the bill. sadly disappointing together.

I placed a take away order in good faith for my family to enjoy in these tough times. After delivery even though the delivery guy went into the light, as I thought to make sure he gave me correct change I was then short changed...it was only but when I rang them to complain as its not normal for that to happen I was shocked at the lack of empathy and when I called him out he called me stupid and then when the guy who had made the mistake came back to deliver my outstanding money he told me never to order from them again. Charming! I hope no one else innocently checks their change as I hope no one else receives this shocking treatment to an innocent enquiry!

I’ve lived in Whitstable for many years and as such have ordered many takeaways from the local vicinity. Masala Bay is my usual and I haven’t actually taken the time to give them the credit. Professional and attentive staff, but more importantly flavoursome, delicious and...superb quality food which is arguably very competitively priced. Understandably they have changed some of their services in an ever changing and adapting world, as such it is delivery only (do miss the collection discount but understandable), however food has more often than not been delivered piping, within the time frame provided.
