Unsere Erwartungen waren angesichts der Vorschusslorbeeren natürlich groß. Leider mussten wir feststellen, dass die Steaks auch nur Durchschnitt waren, der Tomatensalat wässrig und geschmacklos, die Pommes frites kalt. Und dann 120 Euro pro Person ist unangemessen überteuert. Bestens: der Service.

We found ourselves often there, at different times - sometimes as the mid-day with luch or cookies, nicely services and even while our kid was sleeping next to us in the stroller. Or, at the evening, doing some work beforehand and then celebrating the end of the with glass of excellent wine.. Great lounge, loved that!

Overall experience average. High price but low on ambience, service and food quality. All I can say is it was OK but having been to many steak restaurants around the world this is nowhere near good enough to rate any higher. And as RItz Carlton...experiences go sadly it was way down the scale also. Second time trying it and it will be the last

One of the best steak houses we've ever been to! The service was impeccable, the bread was incredible, the beef filets were perfect, the wine was excellent. They even had four flavored salts on each table; though everything was perfectly seasoned, it was fun to...add these salts to give a new taste to each bite. We also had pea asparagus soup (to die for) and sides of vegetables (mixed) and asparagus. Everything was absolutely delicious. The design and decor are elegant stylish. The restaurant even has each diner choose his/her Murano glass steak knife, based on color preference. And the price was excellent; in LA, it would've easily cost 50% more for the same meal.

we were in the scoring to the afternoon tea, the room for this is really very nice, open to the reception, you must like it, we at least liked it well. the offer on our etagere was very large, but it is, as now more often at the afternoon teas in large hotels, overambitioned. in the sandwiches, only one piece really was a sandwich, all the other, as for example the duck meat praline, although very good, brot is hardly there anymore. that leads to a lot of fat being taken, but then the scones and the sweet ugly, which are again very good but neatly fat. even a sturdy man has problems. I would rather be if the creativity of the cook would be limited to the content of the sandwiches.

We booked a table on their website for lunch at Dstrikt Steakhouse for Saturday the 20th of November at 13:00 hoping to enjoy, as meat lovers, one of the best steaks in Vienna. Unfortunately, our hopes were cut short as we walked in and we...were informed, in not a very pleasant way, that the restaurant only serves breakfast until 14:30. And it was suggested to have an executive lunch at the bar downstairs. It was extremely disappointing that we were not informed of these changes at the time of the booking, and that, as the front of house person told us, that no one had called us to inform us of this very important variation. Revisiting the website, we could not find any mention of this fact...

We decided to stop by for dinner having read some nice reviews on their Schnitzel. This place is definitely underrated and I was slightly shocked by how many negative reviews it has received. Perhaps it's just not the best place for tea. Their main meals however, were a delight!The pumpkin cream soup was AMAZING. It was so aromatic and drinking one was simply not enough and hence I had to encore it again. I don't think I'll be able to try such delightful pumpkin cream soup elsewhere again!!The Schnitzel on the other hand, wasn't as heavy as other Schnitzels around Vienna.
