"My family visited this museum during our Christmas trip to Strasbourg. We bought tickets online to participate in one of the workshops. I've done a few other chocolate factory tours (in America), but this is by far the best one! The videos and displays were very informative. You'll get more in-depth knowledge here. I was most impressed that Schaal takes great responsibility in their cocao bean plantation practices. You also get to taste the cocao bean, hazelnuts, and plenty of their chocolate. Our workshop instructor, Sophie, was very happy to speak in English as well as French. She did a wonderful job! She was happy to take group photos for everyone at the end of the workshop, too. We took the tram, and it was easy enough to walk to the museum from the tram stop."

The museum is very disappointing. It doesn't even last 10 minutes. The only positive thing is that we were able to eat 2 chocolates for the price of the visit. I'm very disappointed. It's just a nice factory shop but the museum should be free. Visited on: Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation No recommended

I am really not disappointed by this experience, I booked a workshop as well as the visit of the museum with my 7-year-old son and my companion. The workshop: very well explained by the young woman, we felt that she liked her job and it's nice to hear and listen! The visit: top, very interesting lots of things to learn. I really recommend this museum!

We enjoyed our visit to this museum. the staff is very pleasant at the reception and the store. We especially thank the foreigner for his explanations and goodness. I recommend for big ones and little ones. Don't hesitate to take a break at the museum's restaurant because of its originality. an express car is with impeccable service and pleasant staff. Redo when we go back to the area. View menu

A chocolate experience! A great day with: the excellent savory and sweet buffet in the morning (with specialties from Alsace), a very informative small museum (with unlimited tasting during the self-guided tour) and to finish a very fun activity for adults and children. little gourmands with making their own Christmas bauble (changes according to the seasons and that makes you want to come back)

I put a 4 stars for the stages explanations, tastings. Unfortunately, due to some incivilities on the part of poorly polished people, use their hands instead of the small brush made available to take the chocolates in tasting. Let them run their children who even dropped a sphere at the corner of immediate take-off. The staff is very kind. I complain them the first during these visits, to have to deal with this nonchalizing category. My advice is to call the reception before, to make sure it's pretty quiet where filled. (Otherwise I would have put a 5 stars)I will be back soon
