"I can only advise categorically to anyone visiting San Raphael to not go to this bar/restaurant especially with a young family. We have dined out at many restaurants including some top end restaurants (which this is far from) and I can categorically say I have never experienced such appalling service or have been treated as badly. The Head Waiter (tattoos and glasses) was rude and aggressive and shouted at me whilst I was eating and complained that my 1 year old baby son was dropping too much food on the floor and this was 'not normal'. He spoke very loudly in front of other customers demanding that I pick all the food off the floor which was very embarrassing. Whilst I appreciate my son was quite messy and we would have normally helped we were made to feel very unwelcome and embarrassed and this sadly lead to an unpleasant exchange of views. Both my wife and a French couple next to us also spoke to him explaining that it was normal for a baby to make a mess when eating and my wife explained that normally the restaurant would either help us clear this or at least give us a dustpan to clear up the food but he simply ignored this and eventually called over the owner who was not sympathetic and did not apologise or offer to take any money off the bill. The whole experience was truly awful and ruined our evening and the restaurant clearly has no understanding of customer service or young children. Don't be swayed by the sea view or the sunshine location. Food also average at best."

This restaurant offers delicious food served by extremely friendly staff at great value for money prices. I highly recommend it.

Small busy place. Nobody speaks english, and no english menu neither. My pizza was overburn as hell. The spagetti wasn't enough for a child, not even for an adult. we paid 99 euros for 2 adults and for 4 children, but we stayed hungry.

Most places closed when we wanted to eat at 5.00pm. Staff friendly. Our group of four all had pizzas. Served hot and with plenty of flavour. Everybody happy with their choice's. We thought it was good value considering its location by the marina. Would return.

We had dinner here. My wife had moules frites (mussels and chips) and the mussels were very tasty. I had lasagne which was also very good. My dessert was poor. The restaurant has a great setting overlooking the harbour, and great for watching the sunset. The only negative here is the service - our waiter was cheerful, but a bit sloppy and spilt a couple of things, while the head waiter is knowledgeable, but not friendly or pleasant - such a shame.

I ordered one steak frites and one menu "fish soup and steak frites, the menu price was something like 12 euros, they charged me everything a la carts, total bill 65 euros for two, the steaks were of Michelin quality, and I do not mean the restaurants , but the tyres. Soup was tasteless and cold, and the steaks were terribly tough. Never again, I complained and the waiter did not even listen and walked away. I had parked my car next to the restaurant, next morning there were two eggs on my windshield. Waiter said some drunk guy must have done that. As if people go out carrying eggs. Never again!

We visited O Soleil on the first evening of our holiday in St Raphael. We were tired having travelled for the previous two and a half days, the weather was dreadful (thunder and lightning) and there were few people around the town and in those restaurants that were open. Our mood was low, as were our expectations, so we settled for the standard 17.90 Euro menu. What we received brightened up our mood and, indeed, our day.My starter, a Salad Nicoise was reasonably sized and included plenty of tuna, anchovies, tomatoes and green beans (I would have liked a few more onions and a bit more boiled egg but it was fine). My wife's starter was a prawn cocktail which was well presented and pronounced "...
