"I made a reservation for 6:30 this evening. We arrived 15 minutes early but were told that our table was still being prepared. We were instructed to order a drink at the bar and wait to be called. However, after 30 minutes and still no word about our table, we decided to leave. Instead, we ended up enjoying a delicious pizza at Flour and Fire at Botley Mills. We won't be returning to Beefeater again. Additionally, the man at the front of the house seemed a bit disorganized, which may have been the reason for the poor service."

Five of us went to A Beefeater for lunch on Saturday and had a great experience. We hadn't been to A Beefeater in years, but the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The waitress and waiter were both great. We don't have much else to say except that we will definitely be back.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I didn't have high expectations for a good vegan roast in the area. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Our server, Caroline, was very kind, friendly, and efficient. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and respectful. I will definitely be returning.
