Bestes Essen, das wir in der Schweiz hatten. Exzellente Qualität. Nicht billig, aber es lohnt sich. Guter Service. Teilen Sie ein paar Desserts es lohnt sich.

We enjoyed excellent food in this hotel restaurant. The menu is Swiss focussed. The Rosti was particularly excellent but all the food was exceptional. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly, particularly Mirka who made us feel at home. If you are in Lauterbrunnen, then I would fully recommend you stop here to eat.

Wir kehrten nach Lauterbrunnen zurück, da es so wunderschön ist und wir in diesem schönen traditionellen Restaurant gegessen haben. Wir probierten die Schweinewurst in Zwiebelsoße mit Rösti und es war sehr lecker. Gepaart mit einem schönen Bier und was für ein tolles Mittagessen.Guter Service und ein schönes traditionelles Ambiente. Nicht billig aber gut.Sehr empfehlenswert. View menu

In unserem kurzen Aufenthalt in Lauterbrunnen sind wir am meisten in dieses Restaurant gegangen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beide Tage habe ich mit der Möhren-Ingwer-Suppe angefangen, und so sehr ich mich auch bemüht habe, sie haben mir das Rezept nicht gegeben. Obwohl das Wetter nicht perfekt war, aßen wir gerne auf der Veranda. Rick Steves war vor ein paar Tagen vorbeigekommen.

Although the menu posted outside did not show gluten free options the menu they give you inside does. I had their Rosti. It was delicious. My husband got fondue and they provided gluten free HOME MADE bread for me to dip. They do not have a dedicated area but they were knowledgeable and also said they had GF pasta if I was to choose that. I also came in when they opened so the risk of contamination was less.

Ich bin froh, ein wunderbares Restaurant in diesem schönen Schweizer Dorf direkt an der Hauptstraße zu finden. Sie können die Leute beobachten, während Sie Ihr Fondue oder Raclette oder andere Vorspeisen eintauchen. Die Angestellten sind sehr hilfsbereit und sprechen auch Englisch! Sie müssen ein wenig die Straße runter parken, aber nur einen kurzen Spaziergang. Wir haben hier die andere Nacht gegessen und haben jetzt wieder Reservierungen für heute Abend. We came into town hungry not sure where to go. It was early, I walked into the restaurant, and it was greeted by a lovely lady, who was so kind to take a reservation on the spot for later that night. We arrived a couple hours later were warmly greeted had a wonderful rösti with mousse for dessert. Behaviors observed by patrons- kindness goes a long way. The place has limited seating is quite clear about reservations online signs- being nasty to the staff is a reflection of you, not this lovely place. Asking for the bill is normal- not being rushed is normal, expectations set. Book enjoy a wonderful dinner.

I went to this place specifically to try the rosti that other reviewers raved about. As when placing any order, I told the server that I have a severe gluten allergy (celiac's disease) and asked him to please let the chef know. At this point he got belligerent, telling me that if it has a GF symbol next to the item on the menu then it's GF and there's no reason to tell the chef. When my husband and I explained that it's a severe allergy (again) and that most chefs like to know he began yelling at us that it's obviously GF and this is pointless. I wanted to love this restaurant given the reviews, but the experience just didn’t warrant an above-average review. The food was good, but the wait staff did not provide attentive service. On the positive side, the mountain view from the front terrace was lovely. The food was tasty; it wasn’t exceptional, but it was very good. I had the pork schnitzel in a mushroom cream sauce with noodles, and my husband had the veal in a similar mushroom cream sauce with rosti.
