"We visited as a family in August. The restaurant is on the a nice path going out of the village. It was full by the time we arrived but they managed to accommodate us about 10 minutes later, which was very nice. But then the...unthinkable happened: my elderly (80 year old) mother wanted to join us at the table and failing to realize she was with our party, despite the fact that we said we were a party of 5 and only 4 at the table, the owner was extremely rude to her. She is an oncology patient and still needs to wear a mask and when she tried to explain she was with us, she was yelled at by the owner that she couldn't and that he couldn't understand anything with the mask on. I have never seen anyone so rude in the hospitality industry. It is totally unacceptable (even if he thought he was right, which he was not -he just did not understand we were together) to treat an elderly person like this with such disrespect. So I have to echo other reviews that mention the rudeness of the owner and it was a big let down nearly ruining the day. The food was ok but nothing spectacular."

Great food we tried the lamb entrecôte, rösti, fondue and tartes. Summer Friday we were treated to the cow bell parade and alpine hit and choral performances View menu

It is a restaurant hidden in the campground. Tried the dinner and it is good quality and reasonable price. Book ahead if possible. We arrive without a booking and they manage to get us a table with booking only later in the evening.

A very busy restaurant in a small town. Situated inauspiciously in a camp site . Friendly and efficient service and tasty food in a warm atmosphere made for an enjoyable evening. Generous portions and tasty. Deer stew was outstanding. Highly recommended

Found this place over gmaps ratings, so it's only fair to contribute. Had fondue, salad and wine. House white is pretty nice for a house wine, fondue was great, salad was big and tasty. Prices are normal Swiss prices realistically. Staff is super nice, the place is very busy. We came ans made a reservation 2 hours prior to our dinner on a Saturday late afternoon. Going home happy with full bellies! View menu

I am not sure what constitutes good food in Switzerland, but I think the bar is set pretty low. I ordered the schnitzel and it was just ok, it was supposed to have a mushroom sauce but it was plain breaded pork. It came with rosti which again was nothing more than soggy hash browns. The Swiss cooks need to visit the American south to find out how to cook hash browns. Nothing to go out of your way here.

The worst restaurant I’ve ever been in. I’ve never faced pure racism like this anywhere else. The manager called us names and used slurs on us. They were not serving us because of our skin color and also made fun when I said I’m from Dubai . The manager was so aggressive and told us to go back to our country. He kept using the phrase “this is my country” He kept using slurs like the F word and told us very aggressively to leave the restaurant. All this happened just cause we asked where’s our food. They kept looking down at people with different skin color . This incident had really spoiled our entire trip and shame on them for still treating people differently. I really hope the authorities...

"Good Italian food with reasonable prices for a high mountain tourist destination. Unfortunately, this restaurant is flawed by mediocre service. We visited this restaurant twice. The first time, the serving team seemed haggard and understaffed but service was passable and friendly. However, we noted the staff had no tolerance for guest requests: multiple people in ear shot of us requested table changes or menu substations and were universally denied. On our second visit, it was clear the staff forgot to put in our entree order we waited over an hour for a vegetable pizza (with several gentle reminders from us) while tables seated long after our arrival received their orders all around us. The best we got in explanation was sorry we are busy tonight. Outdoor seating is available, but in high demand. Take out pizza is on offer (probably the smartest option given the above mentioned issues with service). Generous desert options. Good kids menu (although with pizza on offer it 's hard to go wrong for kids). There was excellent live music on the terrace during our weekend visit. Wine selection was good, beer was all bottled, minimal mixed drink offerings. The restaurant is attached to a bar of the same name. The bar has a simpler but similar menu. However, we learned that the bar is not open during the summer season. That was not immediately obvious from their website. Bottom line: I want Da Sina to be my go to family restaurant in Wengen, but it is marred by mediocre service and an inability to cater to its customers..."
