Olympia - Menu

Had a wonderful dinner again. Good flavours, very nice atmosphere and overall nothing to complain. Sadly no pictures but will make some next time. for me

this restaurant does not have the "average Greek eating" when compared with the others in the neighboring. each dish is unique and delicious. best mousakas and zaziki!

although the fresh interieur was promising, the new menu is quite different. I think they aim for a less traditional Greek menu, more mezedes (Tapas-like) approach. I assume that they will wear another group of people with it. I'm not sure we are. View menu

The new interior is breathtaking. You experience a holiday on the Greek islands! This in combination with lovely meze and the best main courses you can imagine...if you love Greece and it’s delicious food, go to Olympia...just across the border near Sittard

I visited this place for a business trip because I traveled around as a cook. as a Greek cook (specialized in Mediterranean cuisine) this place reminded me more of Greece than Greek restaurants! everything from eating to service was excellent and that? fava dish was incredible. I can only recommend to visit this place and eat a large bite of it, as Greece tastes! !

this is a Greek restaurant in the small town defense near the Dutch border. we visit this place since the middle of the 80s when it started here. but the last few years only occasionally. the portions were reduced in the course of the years. recently they were re-designed. that was at the time when old interieur was aged. but now it looks like a resto on the French Atlantic coast and do not sit comfortably. free wlan didn't work. eating is good, but the portions are less than half the 80s. still enough. service-friendly. parking available. we visited olympia, me and my wife. When we entered, there were plenty of seats available so we could sit down where we wanted. the waiter needed about 10 minutes to get us a menu. we brought our drinks and ordered a plate for two people. the salat that came before the main court had absolutely nothing to do with Greece. it was a cluttered teller with rest. the main court arrived, the flesh was not bad. we didn't get any sauce with the court. for a small teller with tzatziki we had to pay 4,50 euro. I needed four times to ask before we actually went to the kitchen to ask for the tzaziki. when we asked about the bill, this also took 2 waiters and about 10 minutes. I'll never go back here.

We visited Olympia exactly a year ago on a busy night and were not happy with the service. We decided to give it another go tonight and we were pleasantly surprised. I wrote a bad review last year which I have just deleted because we...had such a great experience today. The food was outstanding! We tried different mezedes dishes which were all very tasty. They were served on nice plates and tastedlooked more authentic than the large grill platters most Greek restaurants serve although you can still order those if you're into that kind of thing. This is our absolute favorite place to eat in the Selfkant area. The decor is beautiful. If you’ve ever wanted to go to Greece this place makes you feel like you’ve traveled to the islands. It’s beautiful not kitschy or over the top. The...food however is what we come for. The menu has a lot to offer any palate and we’ve never gotten a bad meal. The service is a little slower than we’d like but it’s Europe and we’ve come to realize that’s just normal most places. The owner is super friendly and when he’s on site the service we found to be a little more attentive.
