"We returned with a group of friends, but compared to yesterday, today with us there was a one and a half year old girl who unfortunately wasn 't feeling well and spent some time crying, despite us all trying to calm her down. At a certain point the dining room manager (or actually the owner, I didn 't quite understand who she was) approached the parents saying Can you make her stop? Out of respect for the other customers as if making her cry was a whim for us, or as if we were singing at the top of our lungs without caring about anyone else. How dare a restaurant manager behave like this towards a customer? We were shocked and speechless, we had never had such a surreal experience. Maybe the lady doesn 't know that the children don 't have the ON/OFF button or the silent option. We should have explained it to him, probably. Even when the father took the little girl out, passing in front of her, she covered her ears with her fingers. An out of place and disrespectful attitude. It 's a shame because the food is good and the waitresses were all friendly. We paid €40 each for central starters with fried gnocchi, cured meats and cheeses, a risotto or cutlet each and two bottles of wine (there were 10 of us). One star goes to the zero behavior and hospitality of this woman, who ruined our lunch. So no, we will not return or recommend it. Learned manners and how to treat customers. Kid-friendliness: Absolutely not, the woman who runs the place is allergic to children. For a little girl who was crying he told us to make her stop because it was not respectful to other customers. When her father took her out and passed her, she covered her ears with her fingers. What happened was crazy."

Excellent place. Amazing food. Order the fried gnocchi (they are like bread) and fill with cheese and Parma ham. The pasta is also incredible, homemade. Fast and very attentive service. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I have to be honest... I entered the place a little hesitant but I left more than satisfied. Getting to know him first... Kindness and education are the business card of the place. The cuisine and the quality of the products are the DNA of the place. Excellent Gorgonzola and stracchino accompanied by fried gnocchi. The Milanese risotto with ossobuco is superb. The staff was impeccable and the owner was an extraordinary person. Congratulations I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back... View menu

We arrived late at our hotel and ended up here by chance, since it was in the same street. We were lucky to be seated considering the late time and that it was the 8th of March. The starter with fresh cut and gnocco fritto was really good and they also gave us cheese as a compliment of the house. We both ordered the tortelli with ricotta and spinach inside, but with different toppings, they were super tasty. Their wine was really strong, but it was good and nice to drink it from the bowls : As dessert I tried the really delicious strawberry with mascarpone cheese. For the Women's Day they gave me a yellow chocolate instead of Mimosa, super cute! We also had a really nice chat with the owner,...

Recc by our airbnb host, we didn't have a resy but as long as we were out in 90min before their next seating we could stay! We got house white red, they asked us how dry we wanted it so they could pick one to our liking! The house bread were little white rolls. And we got complimentary shavings of their cheese-so thin! I love the creative way they arranged the paper place seating with the utensils, ceramic bowls for wine by the bottle. The fried bread (gnocco) is hollow on the inside and made fresh! Loved the ham selection provided with the fried bread. We got the osso bucco with saffron rice, amazing-creamy, fall off the bone, saucy! And the pumpkin ravioli were bite size with a sweet crisp...

"Visited months ago The label of a vegetarian restaurant absolutely does not correspond to what Joia represents in the Italian gastronomic panorama. We are talking about the maximum expression of haute cuisine, overwhelming ideas, bold and unexpected combinations, exceptional raw materials, all served in an exclusive environment suitable for providing customers with a fantastic experience. Chef Leemann showed up in person to take the order and give his suggestions on the sequence of dishes. The service staff has always proven to be very prepared to answer all our questions or curiosities about the dish itself and this knowledge was not only the heritage of the waiter who brought the dish to our table and described it to us, but of all the staff who, even randomly, we stopped to ask for further explanation! The wine list was excellent from which we chose a Barbera d 'Alba by Bartolo Mascarello. But let 's get to the food. As entrees... and calling them entrees is definitely limiting! We were offered 2 wonderful tastings which unfortunately I cannot remember in their composition, but the first was a cream with carrot and rhubarb served in a mini terracotta vase, while the second appeared like a palette of colors where some fantastic raw materials sauces could be combined manually. My lunch then began with the Cantiam la montanara where, under a soft celery foam, there was a composition of green asparagus, spring onion and truffle on chopped borlotti beans. Fantastic dish, sublime with exceptional aromas!. I then continued with The navel of the world , a wonderfully plated dish where two types of rice are used, one as a base made with asparagus and watercress, and in the center a Venere rice cake finished on top with saffron almond cream . Finally I closed the lunch with a selection of 8 cheeses, some of which were truly exceptional, accompanied by jams/honey. Obviously the bill is in line with the proposal and with the experience. I must say that it was truly a pleasure and an honor."
