"Terrible service, so disappointed as came here two nights ago and had a simple pasta meal for which was freshly cooked and good service. We met some friends tonight and as a party of with children came back. Terrible. Different waiters and...had to ask several times to order wine and main courses, ripped off as they suggested a shared starter board which ends up costing Euros each so euros for two platters barely touched irresponsible! We should have asked cost lesson learned the hard way! but in happy holiday mode didn’t! to our regret and cost us! Then they got the main courses wrong, made children wait circa mins for simple pizza whilst correcting the order! End bill was euro literally for pizzapasta main each for adults and children, a ludicrous starter which hardly any of the children ate crazy, garlic bread much better! and two bottles of very basic wine. Incidentally our first and second choice wine was not available. We order the same pasta meal ; spaghettini with truffles; arrived cold and congealed, really unpleasant. Whereas delicious and hot on first night. the Older gentleman waiter who was looking after our table ignored us for the most part and then made us count out the tip. Mortified to not do so paid up but really dreadful service in a group with different staff and wished had not paid a euro tip for pretty awful service! Distracted as out with good friends not sen for ages and trusted restaurant as second time there. Be aware and don’t get ripped off with awful, dismissive service and poor food!!! On reflection, despite a good experience first time around? There were people complaining next to us as well so I would avoid"

Although we did not have reservations on a Saturday night, the staff managed to get us a table. The food was very good: creamy pumpkin soup, followed by spaghetti alle vongole. Well cooked al dente pasta, with lost of vongole. Served well Napolian style. Correct...bill, paid by cc although below Euro

Visited the Italian restaurant for dinner with friends. Very good atmosphere inside. The staff was good. And the food was very good and delicious! We keep returning to this middle priced italian restaurant Paulo Scutarro again and again for a light meal or dinner very gladly. And the pastas, pizzas and beef are always very tasty. But what makes this place unique and worth coming back is the friendly...staff, which always welcomes you with a smile

Superb service which fulfills any wish of the client. The food is AMAZING! The fish plate was freshly made of a the best kinds of fish and sea food of the day and the wind dishes as grilled vegetables, salad and focaccia were better than even expected. Will come again for sure!!! Thank you Paulo Scutareo team for your friendliness, kindness and this astronomical adventure!

Going here for years. Food is nice. Service, quality of food, timing etc always on point. Never needed a reservation and have been for lunch and dinners. The only thing I would agree with they do not accept cards if your bill is under 100€ but that is by now known to me, it is also written on the first page of the menu … the next bank/cash point is literally 50m away and if the nice Italian girl is there she does take your card! So, whiners here get a life! It’s a lovely place!

I am Italian and in over years living here, I am still looking for a good Italian restaurant here in Berlin. Due to the many positives reviews we decided to try Paulo Scutarro, which is right on Kudamm. We got in and the staff...was very polite. We set and they brought us bread and wine the bread is very good. My husband ordered a tuna tartarre which he said was very good and I had a Burrata which was nothing special. The salad the burrata came with was average. We had a pizza each. Pizza was not good, the dough has no taste and the garnish is nothing special either. This is why I am giving stars.
