"We always make at least one special trip here when we're in the area. Always excellent food, including gluten free pictured . Menu also shows gluten free options which is originally why we came in- just so much easier! Everything feels very fresh, honest and tasty. Staff Inc. chef are always very friendly and good too. Happily recommend. Also excellent teas I am fussy about the brand of tea! and coffee and cake includes gluten free cake ."

came here during a friendly holiday in the brecon beacons to find somewhere to have the afternoon and we were not disappointed. the tea and cake selection was great and the tea room had a relaxed atmosphere. would definitely recommend and come back here!

We stayed for one night in a family room. A really nicely sized room with everything you need and well presented. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice, even pancakes which our son was very pleased with. If we need to stay in Llandovery again it will be at Penygawse. Thanks.

It's always an unknown stopping for lunch on big rides when you don't know the area. Penygawse ticked all the boxes; friendly, helpful staff, seating outside to keep an eye on the bikes, quick service and great food at a decent price. Should we come back this way again we now know where to go!
